Singer, songwriter Tina-Ève Provost sang for a pack house at College Beaubois Theatre. The event raised $16,000. Langevin stated last month that his goal was to raise $10,000 to build free recreational areas on the West Island territory for the kids and teenagers to enjoy freely and securely. The event exceeded his expectations.

“What impressed me the most about this year’s edition of the talent show was the fact that our volunteers were mostly under 17 years old,” Langevin explained. “Not only do we offer an amazing service for at risk youth but we are also a location for the not at risk youth to give back.” AJOI’s objective is to provide support and much needed help to the West Island youth community. According to Executive Director of West Island Youth Action (AJOI) last year, AJOI participated in more than 4,300 interventions and has supported over 9,500 free participations to diversified sport events near the youth residences. Langevin stated last month that his goal was to raise $10,000 to build free recreational areas on the West Island territory for the kids and teenagers to enjoy freely and securely.
