in a Southern California garage, Mongoose has always been an innovator. From its first product â&#x20AC;&#x201C; cast-magnesium MotoMag wheels â&#x20AC;&#x201C; to its current line-up of BMX, Mountain and Urban bikes, Mongoose is synonymous with bicycle performance. From wheels to frames was a logical progression, and complete bikes soon followed. BMX Products made the first Mongoose bike in 1975. By 1976, the Mongoose was a top-seller.

SAVING ENERGY ASCENDING› AND DESCENDING Enjoy the climb. Our four-bar linkage design limits chain stretch so riders won’t experience resistance at the pedals as the rear suspension moves through its travel path. No more fighting your way up hills. You deserve it all. Braking shouldn’t limit the performance of your suspension. The pivot point on the chainstay by the rear dropout allows the suspension to become much more dynamic through its path of travel while under braking force. This offers riders active suspension even while braking down technical descents or through tight berms. Progressive thinking. Free Floating Technology suspension allows the rear shock to float with the rocker link and the rear triangle. Traditional shock mounts are hard mounted, meaning the rear shock engages when the rocker link is activated. With the FFT suspension system both the chain stays and rocker link engage the shock and move fluidly. This allows Mongoose to fine-tune the suspension to offer a supple and progressive feel for the rider.
