Monzer Mostafa Taleb, born in Kuwait, has been a US citizen for many years and takes pride in his Syrian heritage. Taleb’s academic achievements culminated in a Bachelor of Computer Science Degree in Computer Programming from the University of North Texas, which he earned in 1988. His career is highlighted by his significant contributions to the telecommunications field, particularly during his tenure at Ericsson/T-Mobile, where he led initiatives in network expansion and team leadership. His career began in 1992 when he managed system operations for a local company until 1996. He subsequently worked as a lead switch test engineer at Ericsson Inc., responsible for testing and troubleshooting MSC hardware and software until 2002. In 2003, he established his computer and networking firm in Dallas, creating a dedicated clientele by providing tailored technology solutions. In 2005, Monzer returned to the corporate world, joining T-Mobile in Las Vegas as an O&M switch supervisor, managing vital operational tasks and optimizing system performance. In 2007, he rejoined Ericsson in their Plano, Texas office, where he handled maintenance and operations for crucial communication equipment on cruise ships and at isolated cell sites. Aside from his professional pursuits, Monzer is also a recognized motivational speaker with a host of awards at the local and national levels.
