moodbored’s aim is to pair relatable, engaging content with a DIY ‘zine’ feel for a mainstream youth audience. It was birthed from a frustration in other magazines aimed at the 15-20 age bracket which often spoke down to its audience or censored itself. Moodbored talks sex, drugs, politics, style, and music. It’s sarcastic, it swears, and it celebrates creativity.
Moodbored is a conversation between it and its readers which is why it presents audience submissions of art, poetry, photography etc, alongside regular features. We want to create a brand which has the ambition and potential for community building both in the online and physical world; via podcasts, video, arts markets, and gigs. We hope you enjoy issue one.
