Fashion Photography
Mi interés por la fotografía de moda se basa en que ofrece una amplia gama de posibilidades en cuanto a expresión personal y tendencias artísticas y te permite utilizar un sinfín de estéticas y escenarios diferentes. Me gusta desarrollar esta clase de fotografía tanto en estudio como en exteriores , aprovechando al máximo cada uno de los espacios, razón por la cual prefiero utilizar sólo luz natural en exteriores, para conseguir un aspecto más natural en contraste con la luz de flash que uso en el estudio, que suele ser más efectista.
I have a very special interest in fashion photography since it offers such a wide range of possibilities when it comes to self-expression and artistic trends and allows you to use an endless amount of different sceneries and aesthetics. I like to develop this kind of photography in both studio and outside, making the most of each one of the spaces, which is why I try to only use natural light when shooting outdoors for a more natural look, opposed to the flash light I use in the studio, which tends to be more extravagant.
Food Photography
Otro de los campos que me interesan dentro de la fotografĂa es la de bodegones de comida , intentando destacar las texturas y utilizando a veces tĂŠcnicas como la distribuciĂłn de los elementos en diferentes planos mediante cristales, lo que me permite jugar con el enfoque y la profundidad de campo.
I am also interested in still life photography, especially food photography emphasasing the different colours and textures and using techniques like the superposition of the elements on different levels using glass sheets, which lets me play with depth of field and focus.
La fotografías de danza las realizo tanto en sesiones particulares posada como de invitada durante las clases, en cuyo caso son fotografías totalmente espontáneas en las que intento intervenir en el espacio lo menos posible. Del mismo modo, he fotografiado diversos espectáculos como el festival Palma amb la dansa o la Gran Fiesta del Arte del Pueblo Español.
My dance photographs are taken in shoots in which the models/dancers pose for me, or during their classes, in which case I try no to disrupt and to intervene as little as possible. I have also photographed different events and festivals, such as Palma amb la dansa or the Great Fest of Art in Pueblo Español.

María Samaniego (Moonchild Wolf) got her Associate’s Degree in Audiovisual Production in Palma de Mallorca and did an internship in Leguas Producciones before signing up for Artistic Photography in the Design School of the Balearic Islands.
