Real experiences from Foster Carers in Wokingham
“We love ‘our foster children’ as we get to play games together and it makes them happy. I feel happy that they live here” said daughters aged 4yrs and 6yrs.
Wokingham Borough Foster Carers, Amy and Will: “We like fostering because it fills our heart with so much love and joy. There are challenges, especially when you have children of your own as well. It’s trying to work out a new balance that works for you all, but the amount of love you receive from another little person in your life as a family is incredible and well worth it. It’s the best experience we’ve ever had, and we fully encourage anyone interested in fostering to find out more. We are so very grateful that we have had this experience and couldn’t imagine our life any other way.”

The Christmas show at Norden Farm Centre for the Arts in Maidenhead this year is the classic tale of Pinocchio.
Stuff and Nonsense are leaders in family theatre. Their adaptation of Pinocchio combines classic elements of the story – a poor woodcarver, the tell-tale growing nose, the dream of becoming a real boy – with their hallmark hilarity, skilled puppetry, original music, fantastic staging, outstanding performers and extraordinary physical tricks.
The family show runs from Tuesday 26th November to Saturday 28th December and we have a family ticket up for grabs! Email your entry titled ‘Pinocchio’ to be entered into the prize draw!
