ABOUT THE DESIGNERS
Marcel Wanders is a leading product and interior design studio in the creative capital of Amsterdam. It has over 1,900+ iconic product and interior design experiences all around the globe for private clients and premium brands. Under Marcel Wanders and Gabriele Chiave’s creative leadership and direction, the studio has made it his mission to “create an environment of love, live with passion and make our most exciting dreams come true.”
The studio’s work excites, provokes, and polarises, but never fails to surprise for its ingenuity, daring and singular quest to uplift the human spirit, and entertain. In this universe, the coldness of industrialism is replaced with the poetry, fantasy and romance of different ages, vividly brought to life in the contemporary moment.

Container Classic, a fundamental architectural shape
The first Container Table designs were introduced in 2003. Its architectural cone shape redefined modern timelessness and cleverness. The Container Table is made heavy and stable when filling it up with sand, or stones, but it’s very lightweight when shipped. The material of the Container Table Classic makes it suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.

Container Bodhi, a wooden wrap that adds softness and a natural touch
Bodhi is the most recent expansion of the family: a wooden wrap made of oak for the Container Table’s foot. Bodhi keeps the original design’s qualities, strength and stability, but adds softness and a natural touch.
