Courses for Adults Learn to Knit
Beginner crocheters will learn some of the basic crochet stitches like chain, single, half-double, double and treble crochet, while also learning to read written instructions. The pattern allows crocheters to mix and match stitches to create a unique project. Beginner Knitting If you've always wanted to learn how to knit but haven't been sure how to start, this class is for you. It's designed with the absolute beginner in mind. We'll cover casting on, knitting, purling, binding off and troubleshooting all while creating your very first dishcloth. NEW Beginning Woodcarving
No woodcarving experience is needed to learn how to carve simple wood projects. After four sessions, you will leave with information about carving and will have learned carving techniques that will enable you to enjoy a lifelong satisfying skill. All materials are included. Learn all the basics of knitting, including casting on, the knit stitch, the purl stitch, increases, decreases and binding off, while making felted potholders in class. Introduction to Silversmithing Do you like wearing silver jewelry? Learn to use tools and gain skills necessary to fabricate simple silver jewelry pieces.
