In this course, we’ll learn how to attract and host both adult Monarch butterflies and caterpillars in your yard, deck, porch, etc. Learners will discover how to successfully raise them from the egg all the way to maturity and release.

Historic River Walk (All Ages)

Join Mark Peihl, archivist at the Historical and Cultural Society of Clay County, for this informative walk along the Red River. Check out the historic sites, including the steamboat landing and remnants from the riverfront saloons. Put on your walking shoes and bring the whole family for this two-mile trek on the bike trails by the river. Class will meet outside the front door of the Hjemkomst Center.
