Calling all stitchers, quilters and embroiderers it’s time to get your creative juices flowing! Don’t miss this year’s Craft4Crafters Show which runs from Thursday 30 March to Saturday 1st April at the Westpoint Arena in Exeter. This fabulous event will host a huge selection of exhibitors, retailers and galleries, from felt-makers to textile artists, with over 100 daily workshops and demonstrations.

Centre Stage

This month the MED Theatre are proud to present their annual community play: ‘Granite - At Breaking Point.

The theatre company’s work is always inspired by the history, ecology and folklore of Dartmoor, and this play was written collaboratively by a group of 10 writers as part of its ‘Stark Reality of Rural Living’ project, funded by Historic England.

Its a gritty, ensemble drama looking at the themes of life and work, stresses and strains, on Dartmoor in the 19th century and today. But though it which celebrates the worlds of dressmaking, fashion and sewing. With restaurants, cafes and free carparking, you can make a whole day - or three! - of it.
