She debuted on television in 2007 on the popular show "Supermodelo 2007" (Spain's Next Top Model), which was developed by American supermodel Tyra Banks. This format was a huge hit, with one of the biggest audiences in Spain. She began hosting a famous TV show on the statewide channel "Cuatro TV" concentrating in fashion, trends, media, and lifestyle after "Supermodelo 2007." During that period, she authored "Raquel, Supermodel Inside" (which can be found on Amazon and all major bookstores), and subsequently launched her T-Shirt line, which was a huge success, being sold at the biggest shopping malls. THE MOROZOV COLLECTION The Fondation Louis Vuitton, Paris/online 22 September 2021 - 3 April 2022
Pursuing the Fondation Louis Vuitton’s mission of showcasing exclusive holdings to a broader public, the Foundation has prolonged its highly anticipated exhibition, which is the second in the Icons of Modern Art series, and holds 200 master-pieces of modern French and Russian art, never before presented outside of Russia. Visitors in Paris and online can discover the invaluable universe of old master painters of the 19th and 20th centuries from Cézanne to Picasso. The Morozovs and Russian art The Morozovs also collected a great deal of Russian art - nearly 400 paintings by the leading 19th-century painters such as the Realist, Symbolist, Impressionist, and Post-Impressionist movements such as Vrubel, Korovin, Golovin, Serov, Outkine, as well as by Larionov, Mashkov, Konchalovsky, Saryan, and Konenkov, who augment the sublimely refined art collection privately owned by Mikhaïl
Abramovich Morozov (1870-1903) and his brother Ivan Abramovich Morozov (1871-1921), who dominated Moscow’s cultural life at the turn of the 20th century. Their art acquisitions led to the international fame of modern French painters. Creativity and competition Mikhaïl and Ivan Morozov's enviable collection of the world's greatest painters, that the brothers established during the radical movements in late 19th-century art, catalogues some of the period's most important artworks, such as Henri Matisse's, Still life with The Dance, (1909), where the artist cleverly inserts his signature painting motive as a background to the painting's central motive. This iconic masterwork was preceded by Matisse’s two earlier famous works; Dance which was already commissioned with its matching painting Music by the influential Russian collector Sergei Shchukin in 1909. Characterised by its simplicity and energy, this ecstatic bacchanalia painted

Ten years later the State Museum of Modern Western Art/ GMNZI, was opened in Ivan Morozov’s Moscow mansion, the world’s first museum of modern art. Discover more on, Fondationlouisvuitton.fr.

OMEGA marks the 65th anniversary of Speedmaster Omega's legendary Speedmaster collection known as the CK2915-1, was first launched in 1957. It changed instantly the face of chronograph watchmaking. Created for professional racing car drivers, with perfectly readability, it was also the first in the world to feature a tachymeter scale on the bezel, as opposed to on the dial. This feature was ideal for timing average speeds on the track, and complemented the watch’s sturdy, highly-precise and waterresistant design.

Watch connoisseurs will also be able to pick out the NAIAD symbol on the watch’s crown, and perhaps most sought-after of all is the famous movement inside the first Speedmaster in 1957. It also powered the watches worn during the Apollo missions, including all of history’s six moon landings. Since 2019, OMEGA has brought the Calibre 321 back, carefully retaining all the authentic details.
For the first major release of 2022, Speedmaster marks the collection’s 65th anniversary with a unique 38.6 mm case that has been crafted in 18K Canopus Gold™. This exclusive material is OMEGA’s own white gold alloy, distinguished by its high brilliance, whiteness and longevity. Since 2019, the Calibre 321 is back into production, Omega.com.
Parmigiani Fleurier marks the 25th anniversary with a new purist design The Swiss watchmaker's makeover combines pure aesthetics, a new monogram logo, and the maison's most iconic in-house movements, as symbolized by the one-ofa-kind TONDA PF series, which celebrates the maison's 25th anniversary.

TONDA PF affirms its place in the Haute Horlogerie of today and tomorrow as a timepiece that sacrifices nothing to the excellence of Swiss watchmaking craftsmanship. The rebranding has completely eliminated the unnesesary design solutions. Thus the case band is not straight, but slightly bassiné, i.e. wider near the bezel and narrower on the wrist. This provides the overall design with a sense of increased slimness. © Parmigiani.com

This is the brand's most recent and forward-thinking collection, which coincidentally marks the 25th anniversary of the premium watchmaker. We notice increased wearability in polished finishes on the new integrated bracelet, as well as aesthetics. The limited-edition, all-platinum Tonda PF Split Seconds Chronograph is the collection's crown jewel (left). It comes with an award-winning split-seconds chronograph, which has been upgraded for the limited anniversary edition, Parmigiani.com.

ajestic mountains of Engadin in South-East Switzerland set the background to the noble polo sport as the Snow Polo World Cup St. Moritz Opens and the polo action fires up. Unlike many other cultural events and gatherings (even the annual Economic Forum in Davos had to be postponed), the winter sports season has not been canceled, and athletes and fans are gearing up for the world's most luxurious and magnificent snow polo tournament. Corinna Nebgen von Klitzing, the Owner and Creative Director of Deluxe Dynasty, shared her impression and why she cherishes the world-class winter destination, "It is a sunny place in the Swiss Alps with amazing hotels and Michelin starred restaurants, where amazing clients and friends meet from all over the world and anything is on top level." Nebgen von Klitzing, who is residing in Switzerland, added, "The beauty of the Engadin mountains with the frozen lake of St. Moritz are a nice complement and the Engadin people are very warm and welcoming."
Despite the forecasts of snowstorms, the first match was bathed in sunshine with just the occasional flake of snow falling upon the crowds. On paper it was hard to call who would have the upper hand, but it was Team Azerbaijan Land of Fire who dominated the play, staying deep in their opposition’s half, with Tito Gaudenzi looking strong and solid at back and Raul Laplacette giving everybody a snow polo masterclass despite this being his St. Moritz debut. Azerbaijan Land of Fire showcased a display of strong, four-man polo, and efficiency from the first day. Moralmoda has the pleasure of talking to Ully, Ulrike E. Schlenter. She is the founder and CEO of @luxury_design_by_ully, a multidisciplinary designer and functional artist with an experimental approach to material research at the intersection between art, architecture, design, and furniture, active in interior design and fashion. The role of an artist is also to make art, beauty, elegance, taste, and emotions available to everyone—to establish a unique dialogue. Ully always sees the connection between how design influences our everyday lives and how our quality of life depends subconsciously. Today we like to focus on hospitality. Corporate hospitality is the entertainment that a company offers to its most valued guests. While she traveled, she experienced some of the most precious hotels like the Oetker Collection, luxury 5 star hotels in Europe & Worldwide, the Anantara, the One & Only luxury hotels and 5 Star Resorts. From the Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts Five Star Alliance she saw and stayed in quite a few: Athens/Astir Palace, Bahamas/Paradise Island, Costa Rica/ Papagayo, London/Parklane, Milan, Italy, Prague, Istanbul/ Bosporus, Genèva/Switzerland.
Grand-Hôtel du Cap-Ferrat Finally in France: the Terre Blanche Hotel Spa Golf Resort, which changed to the Four Seasons Grand-Hôtel du CapFerrat, the iconic 5-star luxury resort situated on the peninsula of Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat, French Riviera. For her as a designer there are 6 important elements for such a world-class hotel:
1 - THE VIEW, LOCATION 2 – SERVICE 3 - DESIGN 4 – SPACE 5 – ELEGANCE 6 – EXCLUSIVITY Ully fell so much in love with this Four Seasons Grand Hotel that she as a past governor of the American Club Riviera organized a ‘Diner & Dancing’ event there. From the welcome in the lobby, reception, to the gardens, the guests walked down in the magic setting of the gardens to the Club Dauphin. With this photo selection - taken by Ully, from the point of view of a designer – join us on a journey through this paradise. As soon as you enter, you can feel this harmony. It starts with the reception, the flower decoration. Immediately, you are surrounded by the beauty and natural elegance of the Four Seasons flair. It makes a difference.

Despite industry-wide challenges posed by the pandemic, Four Seasons' outlook for 2022 builds on the company's recent successes, which include the opening of highly anticipated new hotels, resorts, and residences in key markets, as well as the expansion of its standalone residential collection with new properties in Los Angeles and San Francisco last year.

In tough times, fashion is always extravagant. That was the motto of Elsa Schiaparelli, the creator of the firm that to this day continues to stand as a sign of good taste, distinction, and extravagance.
In fact, this is the natural place for the most surreal fashion brand ever conceived to dress women with a strong and independent personality since, in the XXI century, it was resurrected by the hand of Diego Della Valle.

Haute Couture Spring-Summer 2022
Ulyana Serkgeenko
U
lyana Sergeenko celebrates more than a decade of fine craftmanship and savoirfaire that attracts most stylish women in the world. Sergeenko's attraction stems from her superb handcrafted couture, which combines rich Russian savoir-faire and references while the designer pays homage to the distinct international artists of the past and present. For example, the last couture season had Nata, aka Supernova, as the muse in an enigmatic collection presented in green nature. While the designer's previous spring-summer season took points of reference from the 1920’s, New York’s Empire State Building, the Lenin Library in Moscow, Vera Mukhina’s sculpture "The Worker and the Kolkhoz Woman," Moscow’s "Aeroport" metro station and others.
Heroes and heroines of the Maison The fashion house's new collection is inspired by the 1920s once again. The playful tone of the collection is a hommage to the period's constructivist art, modernism, and athletic spirit. Ulyana Sergeenko introduces new heroes by boldly moving into the aesthetic domain of Soviet avant-garde painter Lyubov Popova's artistic legacy. Lace corsets, embroidery designs, and clothing silhouettes are all interpretations of her work and the tone of the era, with its chaotic and canonical roaring, "One can face and overcome the flaws of the world by adhering to the laws of beauty", the show notes state it beautifully, and Sergeenko's contemporary gaze transforms this mood through rich colour blocking, elegant evening gowns, determined linear geometrical motifs, and flowing fabrics, all richly embelished with Russian traditional crafts.
The embellishments aren't just for details; a gown made entirely of lace took 10 craftswomen 2450 hours to create. Sergeenko's atelier has developed trademark knitting techniques that incorporate intricate handcrafting. Knitted from delicate viscose thread and beads are a black gown and a two-tone peach and mint gown. A coffee-toned men's vest and an emerald-green dress were made using a complex method of hand-knitting silk ribbons and intertwining them with crystal beads; the dress required 240 hours of manual labour and more than 30 thousand metres of silk webbing. One of the fashion house’s favourite accessories – the boa – returns this season, composed by hand from pompoms of varying sizes, reminiscent of a string of hydrangea blossoms or tennis balls. Each pompom consists of chiffon ribbons and feathers, and the petals are embellished with crystals.
The designer pays homage to athletics and introduces a new protagonist in the house’s narrative: a complete line of menswear looks debuts in the collection, inspired by the remarkable adventurist Ostap Bender. Traditional Russian ateliers and couture The fashion house is teaming up with traditional Russian ateliers once more, from the legendary Maltsov Crystal Factory in Gus' Khrustalny, which created all of the crystal details that adorn bustiers, corsets, and hat closures, to Yelets lace elements for evening and daywear woven by master craftswomen at the "Lace Land" atelier, which interprets floral patterns with gleaming metallic thread and crystals that adorn bustier.

G
eorges Hobeika celebrates in its new spring-summer 2022 couture collection the delicious feeling of euphoria and the wonderful impression of invincibility produced by the first kiss.
An unforgettable moment of tenderness, emotions and the sensation of butterflies in your stomach is translated into couture creations for evening and daywear. More than flawless craftsmanship and luxury materials mixed in an iconic design define haute couture. For those fortunate enough to afford it, haute couture is as significant for the emotion and feeling you experience from wearing a haute couture piece. It's a one-of-a-kind and unique experience, as well as a difficult endeavor for any designer to master.
Moralmoda Magazine Haute Couture | 48
Henceforth, why are so few designers get invited to present officially at Paris Fashion Week. And that is exactly what Maison Georges Hobeika did, yet again. In 2020, Hobeika was the only Maison to present a live haute couture show on the grounds of the Tripoli International Fair, overcoming all difficulties and regulations in the process. This exhibition, which was photographed by Patrick Sawaya, was a powerful statement in and of itself, set against a powerful message of love. However, familiarity can train the mind to take even the most monumental events for granted. By highlighting emotion in couture, George Hobeika's woman is multifaceted, free in expression, movement, and constant metamorphosis. These manifestations of bliss and ecstasy are found in radiant silhouettes, light and precious fabrics, laser-cut, swirling like butterfly wings, luminous embroideries and a dazzling color palette.

Zuhair Murad "VERS LES JOYAUX DU TEMPS"
M
urad proposes long dresses made for next summer's yacht parties and short cocktail dresses adorned with fine chains and exquisite pendants that adorn Zuhair Murad's conquers, as designer interprets new explorer heroines inspired by courage to discover the joyful future and almost pirate-like bravery and thrill to seek the ultimate adventure. As one of the few couture maisons to unveil a live couture show, Murad's extravagant vision of maritime explorers and skilled navigators is brought to life with numerous style accessories associated with the period. And Murad tops the modern piratesse evening and cocktail looks with matching monochromatic tricorn hats. The famous tricorne arose from the evolution of the broad-brimmed round hat worn by Spanish soldiers in the 17th century.
The hat style became a signature look at the royal court of King Louis XIV, who made it fashionable throughout Europe, both as civilian and military dress. Tricorn hats, now playfully combined with pleated organza couture looks, give the wearer a sense of regality and majesty, sending her to a world of secret hidden islands and restoring the opulence of the high seas era. Murad combines all this in a collection featuring a bouquet of pleated organza shirts with balloon sleeves, brocade waistcoats, midi skirts in sunray-pleated lamé fabric, cascades of tulle enveloping shorts, long dresses in silk chiffon, jumpsuits, and fitted jackets in crepe cady, as well as jewels incorporated into the textiles. As the show progresses,in the elated interior of the Westin Paris, the very selected invited guests for this intime show are overwhelmed by sensual pirates bedecked with ornate jewels, emerging from a spectacular wreck to set off once more to conquer uncharted lands. The collection silhouettes were perfectly fitted to a seemingly longer-legged cast than what you normally see on a Zuhair Murad couture catwalk—that was enhanced by asymetric dresses, often with a dramatic thigh-high slit, as in looks like draped bourgundy red and a strapless black velvet gown, with sculptural neckline ruffles, a bustle, two diamond clips, and a wraparound belt around an asymmetrical bodice. His signature asymetric lines and Hellenistic drapery morphed into shapes that were more dynamic, more 21stcentury, and more glamorous. The floor-length dresses are so long and light that they touch the front row seated as they fly in the air after the model, and it is possible to admire up-close silver embroidery on their outfits that is darkened on purpose, in striking contrast to the tangles of gold chains and pearls slung from the models' slender waists. In an all-encompassing palette dominated by the aged pink of maritime dawns. Front-row seated guests included Heart Evangelista, who admired Murad's couture up-close with the pallid red of canopies faded by sun and salt, the sand of beaches and deserts, and the rust of oxidized metals, along with traces of the blue or green of the water when it reflects the sky, brocades and embroideries bring back to life the flamboyance attenuated by the passage of time. Rami Al Ali The dawn of spring
R
ami Al Ali unveils his spring-summer 2022 couture collection that pays homage to the dawn of spring.
The enchanting line up totals 22 unique looks that explore the beauty of landscapes as they evolve from one season to another. Designer's cleverly proposes the rebirth of the morning in light tone evening dresses. The soft color palette and sharp cut with strategic and subtly placed embroideries highlight the designer's vision of innocence and beauty. The architectural creations have their own life in the different light settings and angles that create excitement and sometimes dramatic looks, as with the broad-brimmed round asymetric top in fine, almost transparent fabric that appears to give wings to the model, and mermaid tail dresses in the softest baby blue, creating a radiant and light reflection on the lower part.
Moralmoda Magazine | 30
He skillfully mixes texture and cut to provide warm rays of light a filter even through the frigid color pailete when selecting materials to indicate a transition to a lighter, more vivid atmosphere. Al Ali uses his craft to convey the beauty of this seasonal shift by capturing the essence of the morning sun. The collection's delicate yet wonderfully formed contours give it a mysterious tone. The house's sculptural and tactile tailoring is brilliantly highlighted by modern forms. Al Ali's seamless demonstrates a structural shift, shifting from moulded to fluid in one effortless design, demonstrating his technical abilities once more. Between elegant cylinder forms and voluminous multi-layer skirts, silhouettes dance. Al Ali's savoir-faire as couturier and sensibility is felt through the incorporation of designer's signature use of delicate fabrics including muslin, tulle, satin, silk and organza.

Alexis Mabille

lexis Mabille's Spring/Summer Haute Couture show that was unveiled during his scheduled sow at the official Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week with fresh and sophisticated looks.
Courtesy of Alexis Mabille.
Alexis Mabille's line is elongated almost divine and often Greek inspired incorporation of timeless woman who choses elegance of comfortable dressing with sense for carnal Couture. Haute couture is many things today. Back in the 90s, couturiers would compete to present the most elegant suit pieces and ballgowns that would fit into their clients' and the French Chambre syndicale de la haute couture's requirements, however which are today vastly different.
Mabille, however, insists on keeping up the standard with every collection and look. As usual, the designer proposes lines that he describes as inherently feminine, timeless, and trend-proof as ancient Greek architecture, which finds its way into column-like pleated dresses and brightly colored couture. The spring couture collection is strikingly free from embroidery, yet it blends delicate materials, embroidery and finishes like on backless dress in duchess satin adorned with 45 bowties that took 300 hours to make. Mabille's couture is known for its lightness, but the woman who wears it exudes strength. His couture is admired by American artists and Gulf buyers alike, and his woman is undeniably modern and self-assured. Her way of dressing is seemingly poetic and nostalgic, yet uncompromisingly powerful with an eternal elegance and allure.

An interview with
Tanya Barson Curator-at-Large, Hauser & Wirth
MM: What characterises this exhibition space compared to Hauser & Wirth's new gallery at Zurich's Bahnhofstrasse? T. B.: The new gallery at Bahnhofstrasse is very different. Its in a completely different part of the city, near the lake and on one of the most exclusive streets. It has glass walls so is quite challenging for showing some kinds of work. Having said that the exhibition I saw there, focusing on Max Bill and his circle, used the space beautifully.

In this interview, curator Tanya Barson at Hauser & Wirth, talks about her work for the gallery and the highly complex group exhibition, titled ‘Chromophilia', currently exhibiting various contemporary artists at gallery's space at Limmatstrasse, Zurich. MM: What is your role at Hauser & Wirth? Tanya Barson: My role is a curatorial one, which is my background, based in London but working as a Curator-atLarge where I’m needed across the Hauser & Wirth organisation. It’s a new role. MM: What can you tell us about Hauser & Wirth's exhibition space at Limmatstrasse? T. B.: This is the first exhibition I have curated at the Hauser & Wirth gallery at Limmatstrasse. It’s a former brewery, so an adapted industrial building and it bears the traces of its past use, such as the tiled columns. Because of this history it is quite an idiosyncratic space, and more so that I expected since I was using the ground floor space which is large but does not follow a regular geometry. But it was fun to work with the idiosyncrasies.
Moralmoda Magazine Issue No. 46 |
MM: ow did you start planning the current 'Chromophilia' show? How did it come about? T. B.: I’ve worked with colour as a theme before, mostly for collection presentations at Tate or MACBA. I’ve been interested in the cultural perception of colour for a long time however, particularly as I studied Matisse as a student. Though not in the show Matisse is another artist whose work addresses the use of colour in really inventive ways, he was the original fauvist, and was particularly influenced by visits to Morocco in his use of colour. I had read the book Chromophobia by David Batchelor some years ago and it seemed to me that the ideas that book addresses are still problematic in the art world and in wider culture today. Its an incredibly generous book, a great read and still very relevant. In Europe we still regard colour with suspicion – the chromophobia David identified - and its associations depend on our cultural conditioning. This exhibition was a further attempt to address and dismantle some of those ideas that denigrate colour or that aversion to colour and yet to do so in a joyful and generous way. MM: What are the main themes in this exhibition? T. B.: The central idea of the show is firstly to demonstrate how important colour has been to modern and contemporary artists, and to show how they have liberated or emancipated colour so that it is no longer secondary to line and form but is explored and celebrated in its own right. The other aspect was to address some of the cultural associations of colour that have resulted in its denigration in Western or European culture certainly since the Enlightenment. Colour is associated with other cultures, with childhood and with femininity and thus, as Batchelor explains, it has been othered. Vibrant colour particularly so. In contrast dark or muted colours, or the absence of colour has been associated with seriousness. All of this is down to a cultural construction or system that governs our lives and behaviours. We need to question and re-examine our relationship to colour, and the assumptions it is based on, and the artists and works in this exhibition help us to do so, they make us see the importance of colour in art and in the world anew. They make us see that there is a politics of colour that need to be addressed more fully.
