In Interview with WEB-SITE: WWW.MISSSHEFA.COM @MISS_SHEFA
We approached life coach Miss Shefa to add substance to moral discourse here. Having lived in London most of her life, she has obtained a degree here in communications and works internationally as a communication professional and yoga teacher, to empower people. The more we talked about London and projects dear to her, the more it became clear that so many people from around the world visit London due to its inclusivity. It seems that individuals motivated to do something kind, like she does, end up making the city a cool place to live in. Having lived in London most of your life, how do you experience today's London? I have been in London since early June, and I am just loving the sense of inclusivity! I attended the Open Iftar 2018 Ramadan Tent Project, we had Iftar with so many different people from various communities. The Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan was there, too, his words were so inspiring and made me feel, like as a community, together we can achieve anything. I truly believe that. Which projects are you excited about now in London? Last weekend I volunteered with SWAT London. They are known as the Street Food Servants and their goal is to feed London's displaced people. I am planning to go this Sunday too. It is just beautiful to experience, witnessing Londoners coming together to support each other. Since London has a long tradition of solidarity, how can we stay motivated to do something kind? To do something kind is not hard; it's actually very easy; once someone shows you how you can get involved. In my experience, nobody says 'no' to participating in acts of kindness, but often we don't know how to get started.
Miss Shefa participating in London with the Street Food Servants.©
These days it's even possible to do volunteer work online. While I have been in London I joined an organization that provides counseling to people in crisis, I am about to finish my training, so soon I will be able to support people experiencing a crisis from my own home on my laptop. This trip to London has been beautiful in many ways. What motivates you to join these projects in London? I feel like it's my task to spread kindness to each place I travel too. I heard about the 'Street Food Servants' on a documentary on the BBC. It was about the man who started this charity, it touched me so much, I was thinking about it all night. The next morning I managed to get the charity founder's number, I called him, we had a nice talk and he agreed to let me join in their next activity. When people are touched by seeing kind acts, naturally they want to be part of them. I have seen it many times when arranging my own projects. I always keep Mother Teresa's words in mind, "The problem with the world today, is that we draw the circle of our family too small." When we see the whole world as our family, to love and support each other is second nature.
(*The Ramadan Tent Project (RTP) is a social enterprise dedicated to serving the youth and wider community through creating spaces of spirituality, dialogue, & empowerment. Founded in London, UK in 2013, RTP began as a community initiative inviting people of all faiths and none to break their fasts together during the month of Ramadan.| Left: Miss Shefa during RTP.©

MORALMODA MAGAZINE
Congratulations on the London premiere and release of your latest film "Welcome to Curiosity". This is very different from your last film, "Troy The Odyssey" which premiered in Hollywood at the HTFF. So how is it to be back in London? London is one of my favourite cities and I'm very happy to be back. It is particularly nice because it is “walkable”. While in London, I try to walk—or often inline skate—as much as possible and to take advantage of all the interconnected parks which are a real signature of the city.
London can always remain a meeting point of many different cultures. It's the kind of place where you feel you're a Londoner in a short period of time-even if you're from somewhere else. I'm very happy to be here again! What attracted you to the script in "Welcome to Curiosity" and specifically your character Duffy? And how did you prepare yourself for this action packed thriller? The script was a quirky mix of black comedy, action and suspense. It felt like a unique combination of genres I had not seen before. I liked that the writing was very dark yet down right funny at times. It meant that we all got to play with the scenes which made it a lot of fun!

“The film is action packed and we were taught drills, gun handling and Krav Maga for the heist sequences.” The best bit was probably all the training we had. We got to work with handguns firing blanks under the supervision of experts. In particular, we had a female Armourer who was previously a marksman and sniper in army air corps.
The team was amazing and their first-hand experience helped us hugely on set. There's also this different vibe filming everything at night time. No distractions, surrounded by silence—except for the gunshots! It worked well for the storyline and helped support the danger in the script.
Can you tell if we can expect to see you in any more thrillers and why action characters suit you so much? I'm working on a project called "Synth" that explores the dangers of Artificial Intelligence. It's a dark piece that looks at the ethical dilemmas surrounding AI. Not all that shibines is gold...
And all gold is not mined according to golden standards. Globally, roughly 100 million people depend on artisanal and small-scale mining (ASM), (compared to about 7 million people worldwide in industrial mining), World Bank, 2013). 80% of global sapphire, 20% of gold and up to 20% of global diamond supply comes from ASM. ASM occurs in high levels of poverty and ASM workers do not receive the full price for their gold – sometimes as little as 70% of the internationally agreed price. Most mining communities lack basic sanitation and access to clean and safe drinking water. They often have poor housing, little or no access to education and healthcare, and are financially unstable. Lack of transparency in supply chains makes it virtually impossible for consumers to know where and under what conditions the gold in their jewellery was mined.
Chopard leads the watch and jewellery industry using only 100% Ethical Gold in its creations. Chopard ceased sourcing Burmese gemstones after the escalating Rohingya crisis in Burma.
The Fairtrade Fairmined gold standard launched in London on 14th Feb. 2011 is set to change how gold is sourced. Award-winning jeweller Anna Loucah was one of the first 21 license holders. That year, using world's first Fairtrade Fairmined Ecological gold Anna Loucah created the most expensive Fairtrade product ever auctioned, the "Juliana" ring worn by Livia Firth at the Oscars award ceremony. The was piece entitled "Juliana" after Julian Pene Endova, the Bolivian female miner who brought the first Fairtrade gold to England.
The demand for gold amounted to 4,072 metric tons globally in 2017. By comparison, global gold production from mines in 2017 was estimated to 3,150 metric tons. The jewelry industry was responsible for the largest part of the global demand of gold - 50%. China and India topped the list of major gold consuming countries by demanding approximately 900 metric tons of gold for consumption, each. Ultimately this data from statista.com web-site indicate that consumers in Asia need to follow up on the Fairtrade trend if we expect the livelihoods of small-scale miners to improve significantly and the ecological footprint to be reduced.

London - the next level Five out of the top highest-earning airline routes in the world are either to or from London Heathrow. Now the world's most lucrative route is British Airways’ service between London Heathrow and New York’s JFK and makes a billion dollars per year, which amounts to about 6 percent of BA’s total revenue in 2017 (oag.com). On these pages and troughout the issue we highlight some of best spots in the city, in particular, those that can be appealing to the high-net-worth individuals. Let's keep in mind that the city is all about the new generation, still today half century after the Beatles.
With nearly 20million visitors annually London ranks 2 among the world’s 20 most visited cities – greatly surpassing New York, Singapore, and even Dubai. Nearly 20 million visitors annually fly over for a seamless mix of imperial and modern city lifestyle that appeals to discerned guests looking to take a city break from yachting in St Tropez and resort sampling in the Gulf. Formerly known as European capital of musicals, parties, and art, London is increasingly expanding, since a decade into finer cuisine, fashion and avant-garde architecture as well. This can attract international jet set and oligarch investors quicker than you can say private jet. Relative to its total population London has by far more super-rich residents than any other city in the world. The wealthiest 4,363 Londoners are considered as individuals who own £20 million ($30 million), taking them into the ranks of the world’s ultra-high-net-worth individuals – or the super-rich (by Knight&Frank Research company). The plummeting pound keeps benefiting London's tourism industry and despite Brexit, London still remains a second home of choice to nationals from the former British colonies.
