The School of Pharmacy has been bringing health to the world for 170 years. In 2012 we joined with UCL, one of the world’s leading universities, to form the UCL School of Pharmacy.

UNDERGRADUATE
Master of Pharmacy Accredited by the General Pharmaceutical Council This course leads, after a further year of paid preregistration training, to registration as a pharmacist in Great Britain. You will study the science of medicines – the function of the human body in health and disease, how drugs are discovered, formulated and used therapeutically – in the context of professional pharmacy practice.
TAUGHT POSTGRADUATE
MSc in Clinical Pharmacy, International Practice & Policy For overseas pharmacists seeking to develop clinical expertise to implement pharmaceutical care services adapted to their home country. MSc in Drug Delivery For graduates wishing to pursue a research degree or a career in product development in the pharmaceutical industry. MSc in Drug Discovery For graduates in sciencebased subjects who wish to prepare for PhD-level research or pursue a career in the pharmaceutical industry or a government regulatory body. MSc in Pharmacognosy For students wishing to pursue a career in natural
product science within the drug discovery, herbal or phytopharmaceutical industries, or to prepare for PhD-level research in academia. Master of Research (MRes) The MRes is intended for those wishing to pursue research. It will prepare you for PhD-level study or beginning a career in the biotech and pharmaceutical industries.
POSTGRADUATE RESEARCH
PhD The School’s research interests are divided into four areas and span a huge range of fields, including cancer chemotherapeutics, cancer drug discovery, clinical pharmacy, drug delivery, medicinal chemistry, molecular neuroscience, neuropharmacology, paediatric medicines, pharmaceutical analysis, pharmaceutical technology and materials science.
