This project is a rebrand of Lost Coast Brewery a microbrewery that is nationally renowned. I worked to fit all of the product information along with the homegrown story of Lost Coast and how it became the sensation it is today on each label. I wanted to maintain Lost Coast’s iconic characters but use a new illustration style. To do this I worked with an illustrator art directing the new character direction.

Great White is Lost Coast’s best selling beer accounting for over half their product sales. This was the first brew created in Eureka California where Lost Coast is located maintaining its micro brewery status. They provide beer to over 20 states and 17 countries.

The original flavor name for this brew was watermelon wheat. I changed the name to create a shorter, spunkier persona to go along with the watermelon illustration. This brew will come in 12oz or 24oz cans.

Lost Coast Brewery was developed near the Emerald Triangle also known as the Napa of Marijuana. Inspired by their historical location, they created a brew named after a strain of weed called Indica. This strain is known for its relaxing components which ties into the zen elephant character holding up the peace sign boldly known on the Indica Pale Ale bottles.

Tajik Air is an airline that goes to Tajikistan. It’s had a poor reputation in the past so this rebrand was aimed to celebrate their culture and all that Tajikistan has to offer.

I wanted to design for a topic that is outside of my own lifestyle to give me the opportunity to put myself in others’ shoes. My project hypothesis was If people are properly exposed to others’ personal polyamorous situations and experiences then they potentially could be more understanding as to why people choose to live this way. My goal with this was to unbiasedly educate the public about what this lifestyle means and that people have many valid reasons for doing it just as monogamous folks have.

This project was inspired by my Dad. He brews his own kombucha and with this trendy drink on the rise I wanted to create a limited edition cookbook that would encompass the whole culture behind modern day kombucha. This trendy health beverage is more than just a drink to people and this piece is geared towards its main target audience. Hipsters.

Through out the Hipster Juice book collages are used to convey the chaos and creativity that goes into brewing kombucha. These collages were handcrafted by searching through vintage design and fashion magazines that I have collected over the years. The magazines are beautiful to look at but creating these collages out of their pages for this project was so much fun and inspiring.

I created Milk Paint to have a line of interior and exterior paints that are environmentally friendly, cost conscious and toxin free. When thinking of interior paint a toxin free option sometimes might be the most expensive but Milk Paint has worked on mixing their clean formula at a value price. My objective was to create an effective brand for Milk Paint that speaks to their environmentally sustainable materials and ideals

Churched the app will help Christians’ find a church that is within their denomination and convenient for them. My solution to this was finding a way to introduce Christians to new churches close and convenient to connect like-minded people with each other to create the optimal church experience. Through user research and design concepting I created the app Churched.
