s if rampant rumors of Gavin Rossdale’s cheating weren’t enough to break Gwen Stefani’s spirit, now comes word that he was hiding other secrets from his wife. OK! has learned that over the course of their 13-year marriage, the Bush frontman was funneling cash into overseas bank accounts, according to an insider, ensuring that Gwen wouldn’t be able to touch those assets in the event of a split. Making matters worse, because the

couple had no prenup, Gavin made off with half of Gwen’s $120 million fortune when they divorced in October. “Gwen is devastated,” says a source. “She’s kicking herself for not being more aware of what was going on with their finances. She had no idea that Gavin was squirreling money away.” There had been signs for a while that the couple’s romance had fizzled, including Gwen’s telling Gavin via email — “Look what you did to me now” in all caps — that she was
pregnant with their third child. (Apollo, 1, joined siblings Kingston, 9, and Zuma, 7, in 2014.) “Many thought Apollo was an attempt to save the marriage,” says an insider, “but really that was the beginning of the end. Now Gwen’s so hurt she wants nothing to do with Gavin.” Her assistants take care of handing off the kids to him (Gwen and Gavin share joint custody), “and she can’t even look him in the eye at this point,” says the source. “She can’t believe what he did to her.”
ELLEN’S DANGEROUS DRINKING She suffered a chest-pain scare in 2011 — paramedics were even called to the set of her show — but Ellen DeGeneres hasn’t called it quits on alcohol. “She drinks more than she should,” an insider says. Doctors recommend just one drink a day for people with heart issues, but Ellen, 58, was recently spotted tossing back multiple glasses of wine on a yacht in St. Barts and downing margaritas at the People’s Choice Awards. “Her friends have raised their concerns,” says the source, “but Ellen considers herself just a social drinker and insists she’s fine. If she continues on this path, though, she could have a heart attack.”

veryone knows that the way to a man’s heart is through his stomach — so this Valentine’s Day, try showing him how you feel with this delicious apple pie recipe. Inspired by Hallmark Channel’s Appetite for Love, about a food-industry exec who returns to her small Tennessee hometown and must work with her ex-boyfriend, this delicious cinnamon-candy-flecked pie is something sweet with a hit of heat!

RED HOT APPLE PIE Ingredients
Directions: 1. Preheat over to 425º. 2. Line the pie plate with larger piece of the pastry dough. For a more festive look and feel on Valentine’s Day, use a heart-shaped pie dish. 3. In a medium bowl, blend the flour, sugar, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg until combined. 4. Peel, core and slice the apples. Cut slices in half and place in a large bowl. 5. Toss the apples with the lemon juice. Add the flour mixture, then add the cinnamon candy. Toss to combine, coating the apples thoroughly. Add melted butter and gently toss again.
Pile the apple mixture into the dough-lined plate, spreading evenly. 6. Roll out the top crust and drape over pie. Crimp the edges and cut several vents in the top. If you are feeling artistic, cut four vents in the center in the shape of a heart, making sure they are stand-alone and don’t connect. 7. Bake for 10 to 15 mins. at 425º to cook the bottom crust, then lower the heat to 350º and bake for 30 to 40 mins. more, or until the apples are tender when pierced with a knife and the crust is golden brown.
