Let’s honour the women who make their mark Please join us in celebrating the women of our community in light of International Women’s Day on March 8. This day is to celebrate the contribution and achievements of all women around the world. It is an opportunity to remember the barriers that women have broken through and the accomplishments they have achieved despite the barriers. For more than 100 years, the economic, social, cultural and political achievements of women have been celebrated on this pivotal day. This year’s theme is Women in Leadership: Achieving an Equal Future in a COVID-19 World.
