UNIVERSAL COOLANT EXPANSION & RECOVERY TANK SYSTEM, BLACK WRINKLE POWDER COAT FINISH Until now, to follow the rules of most sanctioning bodies, a remote recovery tank would have to be plumbed off the overflow hose. No need with this dual tank system which has a 1-1/4" quart expansion tank with an attached 1 quart recovery tank. An added bonus is that the recovery tank has a built-in siphon tube which draws the overflowed coolant back into the expansion tank as the coolant cools down.
