A spotlight on Morplan’s services for steamers
We offer two services to help ensure your steamer lasts for as long as possible: a repair service and an extended warranty. How does the repair service work?
1. Get in touch by phone or web.
2. Give us some details, tell us the problem and we’ll arrange a courier to collect.
3. Our expert team will carry out a fault assessment - if you are out of warranty, you will be issued a quote!
4. We will order genuine replacement parts, carry out a fully insured repair and arrange to send it back to you.
To get the extended warranty you must add it to your basket when you initially purchase your steamer!

London store 130 years celebration!
Take a look at the beautiful mannequin display in our London, Great Titchfield Street store. The mannequins show the timeline of our store and how it intertwines with London’s history.
Beginning with the opening in 1894, the display shows our first steps into the fashion industry, to London rebuilding after the war. The story then continues with our expansion into mail order in the 1960’s, the full colour catalogue in the 1980’s and the launch of our website in the early days of the internet, finishing with one of our eco-mannequins to represent 2020 onwards. This display, along with exclusive in-store discounts, ran throughout September so that we could celebrate our big anniversary with you.

Larisa lands in Bristol
Named for the area in Masedonia where lilac grows, this gorgeous new jewellery display range can now be seen in our Bristol store. The soft purple tones of the velvet surface provide a flawless backdrop for your jewellery, especially when set against our new illuminated mango wood cabinets! Visit the store for a chance to see this luxurious range for yourself.

Late night shopping is here
From the 1st October until 10th December our stores will be open late until 7pm every Tuesday. No need to worry about getting down to the store during your business hours, you can pop by in the evenings to get those busy Christmas period essentials.
Sometimes you need to see something before you buy, and with over 2500 products in store to take away, nothing compares to talking face-to-face with someone. And we know that sometimes you want to jump in the car, grab the stuff you need and get back to work. Our stores are open Monday to Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm.

Everything you’ve ever wanted to know about clothes steamers
Clothes steamers, also known as garment steamers, may not seem that exciting but they are an essential tool for many industries.
As a company, we’ve been an industry staple for professional garment steamers for a number of years, which means we have a tonne of in-house expertise about them! So we picked our team’s brains for everything you’ve ever wanted to know - from why use them, what to consider and how to maintain them.
Buying a steamer: What, who and why?
What are the benefits of using a clothes steamer?
• Get rid of that bulky ironing board (more space in the stock room!)
• No burning or scorching the fabric
• Quickly refresh clothes or upholstery –they help get rid of odours
• Lots of fabrics (such as linen, wool, silk and upholstery) can’t be ironed but come up beautifully with a steamer
• Helps reduce or remove bacteria
Who would benefit?
Essentially, anyone who handles fabrics or clothing on a regular basis could benefit from using a steamer. Some key industries to mention are: charity, dry cleaners, fashion, wardrobe departments in theatre, production companies, fashion university and college students, management companies, cruise liners, hospitality, bridal/dress shops and clothing retailers. Another huge rising market for steamers is everyday domestic use in place of an iron, with lots of people having less time and less space, the appeal is easy to understand!
How do clothes steamers work?
Water is heated inside the steamer, you then use the steamer head to pass that steam over a garment, the steam relaxes the fibres in the material, to remove the appearance of wrinkles etc.
What steamer should I choose?
The important factors to consider are: how much you will use it, how long you will be using it for and how quickly you need it to heat up. For occasional, or home use, cheaper, smaller models will work just fine but for continuous, professional use, spending more on a higher quality steamer will save you money (and time) down the line.
Another thing to consider is the materials of the steamer. Our K9 Express Clothes Steamer, K12 Clothes Steamer , Supersteam Clothes Steamer, QuickSteam Clothes Steamer and Supersteam Mini Hand-Held Clothes Steamer, have copper heating elements, which last longer as they are less prone to corrosion and heat up more effectively.
Other aspects, such as the type of connection on the hose, can help extend your steamers life span. The steamers listed above all use a screw connection, which will withstand more wear and tear, as well as sure a continuous stream of steam, making it more efficient. This also means that should one part break or tear, you only have to replace that part, not the entire hose. The hose is also encircled by a wire spiral, designed to prevent wear and tear.
Finally, for more commercial use, some steamers feature a support pole from which to hang the garment you are steaming. This also needs to be fairly robust in order to last. Several of our products have poles that can withstand up to 20kg in weight.
