Leatherback Brewing Company proudly produces authentic Virgin Islands craft beer with uniquely Caribbean ingredients and influences alongside traditional beer styles. We brew all of our flagship beers and canned products in our 15-barrel production brewery on St. Croix, while experimenting with new ingredients and flavors in our innovation brewery on St. Thomas. Both locations serve a rotating selection of 16 draft beers and each Tasting Room has its own menu and distinctive island vibe.

Our St. Croix location opened in 2018 with a limited menu, four draft beers two canned beers. Since then, we’ve experienced quite a lot of growth. We now host an assortment of community events, live music, festivals, and community fundraisers in our family-friendly indoor/ outdoor space. We serve a full menu, and our pizza is an island favorite, especially paired with your favorite Leatherback brew! While you’re visiting, take a walk up to our tour deck, where you can see our entire operation.

Our St. Thomas Tasting Room opened in 2020 with a smaller 5-barrel brewery and a tasting room space offering a more intimate experience. We host live music and private events, along with our popular Beer School, which provides a fun and unique way to experience craft beer. You can also grab a 6 pack when you arrive on St. Thomas at our airport kiosk in the baggage claim area.

We support local community and environmental initiatives that will help to promote and protect our islands in the long term. Our St. Croix location is a collection site for aluminum cans, which we compact, bail and ship off island to be properly recycled. We’re proud to brew with sunshine and rain, doing our part to utilize our natural resources. Our St. Thomas location is fully solar and our St. Croix solar project is in progress. We believe strongly in our products and we aim to build the community and culture around well-crafted beer!
