The entire Condo-Hotel Operations Team was delighted to see and speak to so many of you during your visits these past months. We hope you and your families had a wonderful time while here and look forward to seeing many of you back with us for the holidays. Quarter three’s new venue enhancements, special events and activities at the property continued to promote and expose Fontainebleau to the world. Summer performances hosted on our BleauLive stage included Flo-Rida, Axwell & Ingrosso, Kygo, The Chainsmokers, Demi Lovato and Grammy Award winner 50 Cent. We were delighted to hear how much many of you enjoyed the shows. Melissa Etheridge just kicked off the Holiday Season for us on Friday, November 28 with an amazing performance. Next on the BleauLive lineup is Pat Benatar on Valentine’s Day. Admission is complimentary for our valued Fontainebleau Owners. Tickets are on a first come, first serve basis at Owner Services while supplies last. We hope to see you there! Third quarter has seen some great work completed by the hotel’s Engineering and Housekeeping Teams. The walkway surrounding Arkadia Pool Deck was retiled to enhance the overall experience of the outdoor space. La Côte completed a major renovation with a crisp, updated design, brand new furniture, and a mouthwatering new menu. The famous Chateau Drive underwent a stunning remodel with lavish landscaping and intricate lighting installations added. Airy new balcony furniture was installed in all Trésor units, compliments of the hard work of our Condominium Hotel Housekeeping Team.
And Fleur de Lis Ballroom experienced a beautiful
makeover with new carpeting, curtains, wall coverings, stage refurbishment and paint, which will assist the Sales Team in securing business for 2016 and beyond. Fontainebleau commemorates Frank Sinatra’s centennial birthday, December 12, 2015 with unique programming throughout the resort until December 31, 2015. We were happy to see a few of you at the unveiling of the Frank Sinatra Photo Exhibit, featuring a personal collection of rare, candid images of Sinatra, many of which were shot here on property. If you haven’t seen the exhibit or experienced any of the special festivities, we urge you to come and celebrate with us. FONTAINEBLEAU WELCOMES NADA MIAMI BEACH DECEMBER 3-5, 2015 The New Art Dealers Alliance (NADA) is the definitive non-profit arts organization dedicated to the cultivation, support, and advancement of new voices in contemporary art. NADA Miami Beach is held each December and is recognized as a much-needed alternative assembly of the world’s youngest and strongest art galleries dealing with emerging contemporary art. It is the only major American art fair to be run by a non-profit organization. In its thirteenth year in Miami, this will be its first edition at Fontainebleau. THE GOLDEN PAIR – EXERCISE AND BRAIN HEALTH Your brain is no different than any of the other muscles in your body, meaning it responds well to exercise. You can actually give your brain an edge by donning your sneakers and getting into the gym. Last quarter’s newsletter featured a tip about exercise as a boon to younger looking skin, so too can the positive benefits of exercise be credited with maintaining and improving the health of the brain. Recent research shows that exercise is a catalyst to improved cognitive abilities and may serve to protect neurons responsible for maintaining the long term well being of the brain. The benefits of exercise, especially aerobic, yield positive dividends to the brain on the molecular and the behavioral level. Even as little as 20 minutes of daily aerobic exercise has been shown to boost information processing capabilities and memory functions of the brain. Exercise increases the rate of oxygen pumped to the brain and aids in the release of hormones which helps maintain a nourishing environment for increased cell connectivity and new cell growth. This is a very important function as reduction in cognition and drop off in memory is associated with the loss of connectivity and die off of cells in the brain. Perhaps short term; the greatest bounty of exercise is a reduction in the production of stress hormones and reduction of inflammation throughout the body. The term “runner’s high” has been associated with the positive feeling engendered by a long term consistent program of aerobic exercise, a feel good potion for the brain. TIPS FOR FINDING THE RIGHT EXERCISE PROGRAM •
Mix cardiovascular (aerobic) activity with a fitness activity that challenges coordination like dance or lateral movements.

If you don’t have much time, consider circuit training, which spikes your heart rate and requires you redirect your attention to multiple activities.

Try to work out in the morning to awaken brain function, protect against the stresses of the day and react better to complex situations.
