VIEW FROM THE BLEAU SALES NEWSLETTER SPRING 2014

It was great seeing so many of you at Fontainebleau enjoying all the hotel has to offer during the past months. This winter we have seen Fontainebleau top the South Florida Business Journal’s annual list of the region’s top hotels. Lapis Spa, Hakkasan and Scarpetta all received the Forbes Travel Guide Four Star Award. USA Today featured an article on hotels where bold design will enhance your stay and Fontainebleau made the world’s top 9. Since launching our Instagram account in June 2012, Fontainebleau has become the #1 single hotel with the most followers on Instagram, currently at 21,857, and statigram currently has Fontainebleau listed at #8 on Top Brands in the category of tourism. Media from around the world covered the Sports Illustrated launch of its 50th anniversary issue here at Fontainebleau in February, as well as the recent premier in March of Rio2, with Anne Hathaway, Andy Garcia, Jamie Foxx, George Lopez, Tracy Morgan, Kristin Chenoweth, Jemaine Clement, Carlos Saldanha and Rodrigo Santoro all celebrating on the BleauLive Stage! We continue to concentrate efforts on improvements that create a fresh and vibrant feel to the hotel, and build upon customer service levels for the satisfaction of our guests. Thank you for your continued support.
As always, we look forward to seeing you on your next trip to Fontainebleau!

The aesthetic tensions and convergences between old and new technology continues to fascinate designers, and increasingly, there’s a melding of the two paradigms in the world of collectible design, challenging notions of what is physical and what is virtual, and how they fit together. Analog technologies – those that operate on physical properties such as voltage and time – are being combined with digital technologies, which work on systems of binary code. There are distinct emotional connections to both: analog technologies inspire nostalgia, a sort of warmth, and digital types conjure efficiency, what might be described as a cold exactitude.
