We are taking you behind-the-scenes of our December cover shoot. We sat down with Orlando magazine Art Director Anna Ware to fi nd out more about this interesting cover and how it came together. “The inspiration for the Doctors cover came from us wanting to try something a little di erent and to add some interest and color to what is essentially a very similar shot every year [doctors standing against a solid backdrop],” she said. “Instead of going the route of 'Photoshopping' the subjects onto a gradient background, we wanted to play around with some colored light gels to get a real e ect.” When asked about the most challenging part of the shoot, Anna said, “fi guring out the positioning and intensity of the lights was the biggest challenge. We wanted them to be noticeable enough, but also to blend together. I think the result turned out pretty much how we wanted. Rick Brown, realtor and owner of the Brown Home Group at Keller Williams Advantage II Realty in Orlando, Florida, along with his wife Jean Brown, experienced a remarkable year in 2021. e pair and their talented team of agents were delighted with this year’s successes.

Combining his 31 years of experience in sales and networking with his determination to grow, Rick expanded his team from 5 to 21 members between 2018 and 2021. is impressive growth rate sparked Rick’s desire to branch into neighboring cities, gaining a larger outreach to current and future clients. Expanding into Clermont, Florida, in May of 2021, enabled the Brown Home Group to establish a secondary office and a team of dedicated agents under Keller Williams Elite Partners III Realty.

With such fast-paced growth, new leadership opportunities became available within the agency. While Rick manages both teams, the agency required new Team Lead Agents in each office.

David Hickey, a member since 2018 and Rookie of e Year in 2019, was promoted to Team Lead Agent last year, where he primarily oversees operations in Orlando. Following the opening of the secondary office in Clermont, Blaine Wyker, a member since 2019 and Rookie of e Year in 2020, was also promoted to this role to further the company’s goal of helping clients find the key to their perfect home.

Rick’s team quickly outgrew the Orlando office due to workforce growth and an increased client base. is growth enabled the Brown Home Group to expand to a new and improved office space which will benefit both the agents and future clients.
