MAKING IT LEGAL

Photographed by Elizabeth Lloyd Photography

Our dear friend Elizabeth of Elizabeth Lloyd Photography asked us to curate a shoot for a photography workshop she was hosting at one of our favorite spaces, Wild Carrot, and we couldn't resist. Immediately, I knew I wanted to incorporate a bold color palette as I knew it would lend itself perfectly not only to the space, but to her photography style. At the time, we were designing a few weddings that focused on neutrals and muted tones so I was ready to rock some color. Immediately, I had visions of incorporating rich hues of mustard and chartreuse paired against bright coral and peach. The foundation pieces of our plan - from the custom wedding ensemble for our "bride" to the quirky tablescape - would feature deeper tones providing an anchor to the design allowing the lush florals, stunning cake and modern invitation suite to really pop.
