Those of us who grew up in the 60’s & 70’s will have fond memories of the Ladybird series of books.
They were aimed at teaching children about the world around them.
I recently rediscovered one of these books – How It Works: The Motor Car, and was surprised to see a Farina on the cover!
The book took me back to my childhood and I began to wonder how many kids of today would have any idea about how a car works.
Having said which, this book isn’t just for kids – it’s taught me a thing or to!
