My inspiration for this fashion paper came from visiting an amazing bookstore on Wermont Avenue in Los Angeles. I was so overwelmed by all these different artists who just printed their own books/brochure. I love when people take over their life and just create whatever they want to, just because they have to. That’s how I feel too. As an creator and photographer I just can’t sit and wait for someone to see my creativity. I know a lot of people who feels the same so by doing this paper I gave myself and a lot of fierce people a platform to give out some free inspiration for you to be inspired by. Welcome to BWATT you want in life and in fashion.

It’s impossible to name one particular thing that inspires me. I can be inspired by a feather, a shoe, a song, a scene in a movie.

By people who dare to be different, by the nature that surrounds me, to find success in unexpected places. There is no limit! Inspiration can be found everywhere. But it’s important for me to remind myself to open my eyes and my mind so I can let the inspiration in and constantly change my perception of what’s possible.

My inspiration comes from my environment, which changes constantly. By travelling I’ve obtained knowledge of local trends and style which I incorporate not only in my work but also in my personal life.

I look at not only fashion but architecture textiles and the local natural environment.

I don’t limit myself so I like to produce art in all forms be it paint photography sculpture and jewelry design. I have a passion for what I do, and hopefully that translates to everybody that views it.

SHE LOVES HER CITY. Los Angeles, California. For all the glamour, the nature and the ocean. But she knows it has a price. A very big price called personal freedom. Jennifer Love Hewitt, 32, has lived most of her life in the City of Angels. Originally from Waco, Texas, it was a very different world she met, when she crossed the continent to live where her dreams were. “I love L.A. This is where my dreams are,” says Jennifer in an exclusive interview.

When I decide to go to the supermarket in my sweats, I know that means there will be pictures of me looking not so good. In the beginning it was annoying me, but now I decided not to care. I don’t want to live a life where I have to dress up for everything. I want to be normal, too,” she says. “If I have just been at the dance studio or at a yoga-class, I will be dressed in sweats. That’s just the way it’s going to be,” she tells us.

It was her ticket to celebrity life and through the years she starred in numerous TV-series and movies. She was a regular on Party of Five which launched her big screen career. She got a leading role in the hit movie; I Know What You Did Last Summer. Suddenly Jennifer from Waco was known worldwide – and the success continued. Her latest show Ghost Whisperer was a hit on CBS for five seasons. “I am so grateful for everything that I have. I don’t even think I would be appropriate to talk a about ups and downs in my career.

Of course there have been ups and downs, but think about all those struggling actors and singers out there who doesn’t make it? I am very fortunate,” Text she says.

HAPPY SINGLE AND DEVOTED

Talking about ups and downs does makes Jennifer think. Back in 2007 the paparazzi snapped photos of her at the beach in angles that made bloggers make fun of her weight. She later decided to pose in People Magazine and be proud of her body. “That is Hollywood too.

At first I sat down and cried when I saw all the horrible things people were writing about my weight, but then I decided that I had to be stronger. I realized that if people called me fat, then there would be thousands of teenage girls all around America that would feel even worse than I did. Then I decided not to be picked on, Jennifer says.

Jennifer decided to be a role model and tell all those girls that she was not overweight – and that they had nothing to be ashamed about too. “You know, being picked on is part of MY job. It shouldn’t be a part of normal teenage life,” she says. For most people a job is one thing and your private life is something different. That’s not how it

I love dressing up and fashion is kind of like acting. You get to play a certain role.

And you can always change. That’s fascinating. I think my favorites are my Pradadresses. They never go out of style. When I was younger I had a wilder style, but now I’m more comfortable with things that never goes out of fashion. The classics,” she says.

On a personal level Jennifer has changed a lot, too. Jennifer is single and is not chasing “the one and only” anymore. Hewitt did have a lot of relationships. Last year she dated actor Alex Beth but that ended recently. Before that she dated her “Ghost Whisperer”-co-star, Jamie Kennedy. But now, there’s no significant other in her live. “I’m happy and I’m single! I love being single. I get to decide everything on my own. I won’t say I don’t want a man in my life, but I’m not looking. I’m busy hanging out with my friends, going out, going to concerts and enjoying all that L.A. has to offer. I think I would even be a single mom. I know it would be harder, but I’m definitely not ruling that out,” she says.

Right now she has new exciting projects coming her way. In July it was announced that the hit play Jewtopia is going to be a movie picture, and Love is going to play the leading lady in the role as Alison Marks.

He compares himself to the Vogelkop Bowerbird as seen in BBC’s “Earth” series. A little fella building a mating-hall out of sticks, branches, flowers and half-dead ladybirds.

“When I saw Woody Allen’s last film, Midnight in Paris, it made me want to move back there. When I was 24, I married and spent 8 years with my French/Russian husband Roger Vadim — Roger Vladimir Plemiannikov — so my name was Mrs. Plemiannikov. I made a number of films during that time in French. And my last film in French, Et Si On Vivait Tous Ensemble?, was made last year with a great cast of French icons. We had a blast! “My French remains fluent and I visit France often as I work for L’Oréal Paris, the great cosmetic/skin care company that I’ve been a brand ambassador for. I use several of their products on a regular basis, primarily Age Re-Perfect Pro Calcium which has one cream for the day and one for the night. I tend to have dry skin and it’s gotten more so with age, so these creams have really helped me. Another thing that I love about L’Oréal is that they are committed to the concept that beauty is not simply in the young and model-perfect but in all people regardless of age or ethnicity.”

“I figured that modeling may be a good way to possibly break into acting after I finished university. So, the first thing I did was to get a job at Ann Taylor clothing in New York as a salesgirl.

We had to dress very nicely, wearing Ann Taylor designs. They had a window display with one mannequin sitting at a restaurant table with plastic food and wine, but the other chair was empty. I said to my fellow co-workers, ‘’Dare I go sit in the window?’ They said, ‘Yeah, go ahead!’ So I did and then froze. People outside started watching and asking, ‘Well what is she going to do now?’ “That’s when I discovered I had an uncanny ability for motionlessness. So it ended up that the store started hiring me on the weekends, looking like the rest of the mannequins in the window. And people would come by to see what I’d do. After awhile I’d move and they’d go, ‘Oh my god, she’s alive!’ Not long after, it was through my modeling agency that I got to audition for and be cast in Tootsie, my first acting job!”

“I used to have problems with suits. I went to Boarding schools where you’re forced to wear suits and they had a certain meaning. But through wearing Italian suits and some other fine clothing on the Ocean’s Twelve and Ocean’s Thirteen movies with George Clooney and Brad Pitt, I got back into suits, again. A combination of Italian tailoring and British design works for me. I just need something that gets away from the ties and suits I wore at school. So I like shopping on London’s famous and very cool Savile Row. It’s rumoured that author Ian Fleming and his creation James Bond shopped there. “Personally, I’ve bought suits from Gieves & Hawkes, and William Hunt. With a few adjustments, they fit great right off the rack. Roman Nagel — the high-tech criminal expert I played in the two movies — would shop on Savile Row because his whole thing is being a sharp-suited Buddhist, where he’s wearing Greco-sandals and a cool suit.”

“One indulgence I’ve allowed myself now is that I have my shirts made in Rome. There’s a great shop I found (Via Colonna Antonina, 53 - Piazza Montecitorio), a gentleman’s sartorial outfitter called Caleffi. They’ve got my measurements — because of my size with the broad shoulders and arm length I have, cut is important — and unless my shape changes, I can just pick a material and order some new shirts, five or six at a time. “The shirts are spectacular. And even though they’re customized, you’d spend more buying a shirt in a designer shop. I’m a big guy and if I buy a shirt off a designer rack, it balloons out in front because of my big sizes up top. But these shirts from Caleffi are tailored for me and they feel special. They use top grade materials, but it comes down to the cut again. You don’t want to be wearing a shirt that’s as tight as a rent boy’s t-shirt, or one that’s like wearing a big blouse. They’re very comfortable, a perfect fit, and for a guy my size it’s very difficult to get something off the shelf. This way I’ve got dress shirts, casual shirts, linen shirts, and it gives you a sense of confidence, it feels and looks good.”

The two-time Academy Award-winning actress, health/fitness guru and activist talks about falling in love with Paris again and about L’Oréal Paris.

This British comedian/actor/producer, who voiced Sir Miles Axlerod in Cars 2, and recently co-starred in the HBO series United States of Tara, talks about suits from London’s famous Savile Row.

How posing as a mannequin in an Ann Taylor retail store led her to an acting career and an Academy Award.

The British actor, who previously starred as Titus Pullo in the acclaimed HBO series Rome and this year as Volstagg in Thor and as Porthos in The Three Musketeers, indulges in custom-made shirts from Rome.
