WELCOME

WHO’S WHO? MAU SPENCER Heading up the T&G team, editor Mau has been riding bikes since he was 16. He’s also the founding editor of Classic Scooterist magazine – often leading to him being ribbed by his scooter-riding buddies – he gives as good as he gets. MIKKO NIEMINEN Mikko is the new staff writer at Mortons. He had his first taste of biking at the age of 15 on a 50cc Suzuki. Since then he’s been happiest on two wheels – regardless of the make or size of the bike. He’s an all-year rider and has been testing a range of winter kit for this issue of T&G. PETE HENSHAW Pete doesn’t own a car and is happily dependent on two wheel transport – anything powered by petrol, diesel, pedals or slight electrical assistance. He specialises in riding small, slow bikes for very long distances; he’s also a sucker for anything eco-friendly, or out of the norm. IAN ‘IGGY’ GRAINGER Iggy has been riding scooters ever since he was 15 years old. He has been contributing articles to T&G and other bike magazines since 2003. He’s just done an evaluations test on the new Aeon Elite 400. See his report on page 28.

An exciting future This time of year is always exciting because it heralds the start of all the international motorcycle shows which give everyone an indication of what to expect to see on the roads in the not-to-distant future. Of course there are exciting new models that won’t even make it past the concept stage and bikes that will never make UK shores – but even so, it’s exciting to look and drool, even if we’ll never get to touch. Here at T&G it’s doubly exciting at the moment, because not only have we got all of this to look forward to, but also we have – at long last – taken on a new staff writer. Joining the T&G team is social media expert and all-weather motorcycling aficionado, Mikko Nieminen, who is more than capable of filling our empty shoes. Originally from Finland, Mikko is quickly adapting to the sometimes hectic and unpredictable journalistic

44 conditions we work in – so much so that we even let him loose to go to EICMA for the Milan Motorcycle Show, followed in quick succession with a trip to Paris for the Salon de la Moto, before finally letting him finish-off the triple whammy by visiting the UK’s own Motorcycle Live at the NEC – at this rate, we’ll have worn him out before he’s even had a chance to get his feet under the table.

New scooter tyres from Michelin

Suspension line-up addition £ various VE (UK) has announced a new addition to its scooter suspension product line-up. The new rear damper is suitable for fitment to the Piaggio Typhoon 50 (2011>), Aprilia SR Motard 50, Aprilia Sport City One 50, and Aprilia Sport City One 125. Michelin has launched two new tyre ranges for 2016 at the Salon de la Moto exhibition in Paris: the Michelin Pilot Power 3 Scooter and Michelin Pilot Road 4 Scooter. The new 15in tyres are intended for Maxi Scooters of 400cc and upwards that were originally fitted with radial tyres. They will be in shops in the UK in February 2016. Although specifically designed for scooters, the new tyres are derived directly from the company’s Pilot Road 4 and Power 3 motorcycle ranges, featuring technologies never previously seen in the radial scooter tyre market. Michelin claims the new tyres are more durable and enable shorter braking distance compared to its previous generation. The main difference between the ranges is that the Pilot Road 4 Scooter tyres have been designed to achieve great grip on wet surfaces, while the Pilot Power 3 Scooter tyres are intended for scooter users accustomed to a sportier riding style. Both ranges benefit from Michelin’s 2CT dualcompound technology, which combines soft rubber compounds for the shoulders with a more resistant compound for the central part of the tread in order to maximise both durability and grip.

T&G attended Michelin’s Paris tyre launch and talked to experts about tyres and the new Michelin range; we’ll have the full details in the next issue.

NEWS Oxford named ‘Wholesaler of the Year 2015’

Is it a bike? Is it a boat?

For the second year running, Oxford Products has been judged to be the UK’s wholesaler of the year. The award is judged by a panel of industry experts and it is the first time it has been won in consecutive years by the same company. Oxford last won the award in 2014 and is determined to be worthy of making the triple in 2016. Info: www.oxprod.com / 01993 862 300

Driver/rider error cited in accident casualties

Analysis by the Institute of Advanced Motorists (IAM) has found that human factors continue to significantly outweigh other reasons for crashes on British roads. The figures from the Department of Transport show that in 2014 driver/rider error or reaction were cited as contributory factors in 74% of accidents, involving more than 117,000 casualties. Some 20,830 of these were in London alone.

This Biski amphibious twowheeler looks as comfortable in water as it is on dry land (if not more). Displayed at the AIM Expo in Florida, US, during October, the Biski is the first of its kind – a high-speed, street-legal amphibious motorcycle. The vehicle resembles a standup jet ski and according to the manufacturer, its 55bhp cylinder engine can reach a top speed of 80mph on land and 37mph on water. Apparently it can transition

from land to water use in less than five seconds, which is quite impressive, we reckon. On land it looks like a maxiscooter with a bit of a weight problem, and we would love to know how you get your foot on the ground past the massive foot plate without grounding the machine. Its wide design also makes it less than agile in city traffic, we would guess. In water it looks quite like a jet ski, except that there is a scooter

wheel sticking out at the front of it, giving away its amphibious nature. We’re not experts on jet skis here, but it looks the part as far as we can tell. We’re not sure whether it will ever be available here in the UK, but it’s a clever invention – and undoubtedly a lot of fun – but the question is: how many potential customers would the Biski have? At least here at Twist & Go, we tend to prefer to keep our bikes on terra firma.

Reinventing the wheel Colwood Wheel Works in East Sussex is not just a wheel building and repair company, but also offers wheel building courses. There are one and three-day courses, limited to only two people per course. According to Colwood Wheel Works, the students will learn how to build strong and reliable high-quality motorcycle wheels. They will learn skills of lacing and truing wheels and which tools to use. Colwood Wheel Works was established in 1959 and the current owner Vince Warner has over 40 years of experience in the trade. Vince is also forming a Wheel Builders’ Guild, which he plans to launch next year. Info: http://motorcyclewheelbuildingcourse.co.uk

Bull-it to launch protective jeans designed for kids Bull-it jeans is aiming to launch a new range of dedicated, protective jeans for children by Christmas, incorporating the latest Covec™ material. The new denim jeans will replicate the existing adult range. CEO at Covec™ Limited, Keith Bloxsome said: “There has never been any significant investment in motorcycle clothing for children and Bull-it jeans wants to raise the bar. This isn’t a new market, but one that has been

neglected. We will be using the same fabrics, technology and production methods, as well as the same protective armour; pillions deserve this and children do, especially.” “The absence of a safety standard for children’s armour means that we are unable to say it is ‘CE Approved’, however we will be conducting our own tests to ensure that the soft-feel memory armour performs as well in children’s garments”.

Carole Nash celebrates with motorbaking To mark its birthday and celebrate 30 years in business, insurance company Carole Nash has unveiled a life-size replica of a motorcycle made entirely from cake and chocolate. Measuring 2m long and 0.9m tall, the unique creation is modelled on the exact motorcycle that Carole Nash first insured back in 1985, an AJS 1927 which to this day is still insured through the company. Dubbed the world’s first ‘motorbake’, it took over one month to design and 375 hours to create and includes a whopping 60kg of chocolate, 25kg of icing and a gut-busting 23kg of cake mix. In total the motorbake weighs in at a staggering 100kg! Revealed as a surprise during the Altrincham based firm’s 30th birthday party at Manchester’s Imperial War Museum, the motorbake didn’t hang around for long as it was shared among the company’s 300 employees. Now retired company founder, Mrs Carole Nash OBE, and DL, said: “This was a momentous occasion for the company and it was fantastic to see the first bike we ever insured memorialised in cake form. What better way to celebrate our 30th birthday than with a slice of cake.” David Newman, chief executive of Carole Nash, added: “We’re extremely proud to be celebrating our 30th anniversary as a business this year.

This historic achievement, as well as our continued growth and success, is testament to the talent and dedication of our colleagues, many of whom have been with us since the very early days of the business. “It was a pleasure to be able to celebrate this milestone with everyone who has been involved in the combined success of Carole Nash over the last 30 years. In particular our loyal customers, some of whom have been with us since day one.” The cake was made by food artist Prudence Staite and her team, from Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire. As unusual as the creation is, this isn’t the first quirky commission that Ms Staite has undertaken. Some of her other works of food art include a portrait of the Queen made from 2012 cupcakes, a life-size chocolate sofa and even Rome’s Colosseum made from pizza dough. For anyone wishing to make the motorbake, it should be noted that you would need 7kg of caster sugar, 7kg of butter, 124 eggs, 7kg of self-raising flour, 31 tsps of baking powder, 2kg liquid glucose, and 60kg of dark, milk and white chocolate, plus edible silver food colour to give the authentic AJS style. Is PCP a good deal? Money makes the world go round and unfortunately for many, it’s a stumbling block when it comes to purchasing a new bike. However, it doesn’t have to get in your way. PCP (Personal Contract Purchase) is a popular form of finance for the bike industry. PCP is not a new concept – it has been around for years. However it’s only recently that the big bike brands across the UK have started offering the route to help riders purchase a bike. But what exactly is PCP finance, what does it entail, and is it a good long-term deal? This expert guide will help…

WHAT IS PCP FINANCE FOR BIKES?

The customer pays a certain amount every month for a set contract period and at the end of the loan (as long as all payments have been made), the customer will have full ownership of the bike. So just as you may pay a monthly contract to use a car or mobile phone, similarly you can pay on a month-by-month basis that gives you a new set of wheels.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

What’s the APR percentage? The dealership or brand will have their own APR representative finance offer. This may differ depending on the loan size, which tends to be lower the more you borrow.

FINANCE EXA

Put simply it’s the annual percentage rate, which is the yearly rate the lender will charge you for borrowing. How much deposit do you have to put down? The deposit amount will vary greatly depending on the deal, but many packages start from as little as £99. Shorter contracts will require greater deposits. What’s the repayment period? The PCP finance deal will be available for a set time period. On average, APR finance deals are usually two-three years. It’s important you know exactly how many years you’ll need to make the repayments for. What happens when the contract ends? Make sure you understand and know what your options are after you’ve made all the repayments: Can you renew your bike with a part exchange where equity is available? Can you retain your bike, pay the optional final payment and own the bike in full? Or are you able to simply return the bike. What happens if I can’t make the repayments? A contract is a contract, but all agreements have ‘get-out’ clauses because who knows what can happen in a few years’ time. It’s

worth asking the lender in question what happens if you suddenly can’t make the repayments. Most PCP deals will have something in place to terminate the contract or settle it early. What are the benefits of PCP finance? One of the main benefits is that you don’t have to save up £1000s before you can purchase your new bike! In difficult economic times, it becomes harder to save, but this type of finance deal gives you the flexibility to buy a new set of wheels at an affordable rate, as well as repay the monthly repayments. As long as you keep up-to-date with repayments, never miss one, or fall behind, you can continue enjoying your new vehicle. What are the negatives of PCP finance? The downsides are that you’ll not own the vehicle until all payments have been made and that most dealerships require a guarantee/indemnity. Also, most loans aren’t available unless you’re 18 or over. What PCP deals are available? PCP finance packages are available on a vast range of bikes. KTM Finance for example, makes it easier than ever to purchase a new KTM with a 0% APR representative finance offer.

Major European award for the IAM

The Institute of Advanced Motorists (IAM) has scooped a major European award for its efforts in improving road safety at work through its own staff driving guidelines and safeguards. The European Transport Safety Council (ETSC), a leading non-profit organisation dedicated to reducing the numbers of deaths and injuries in transport in Europe, credited

the IAM in its PRAISE awards in Brussels. The awards recognise organisations in Europe that have taken “outstanding measures to improve road safety at work”. WHAT’S N

New year, new bikes

It’s that time of the year again when all the major manufacturers are taking the covers off their new bikes. HONDA UPDATES ITS 500CC BIKES AND INTEGRA

Honda had already launched new and updated bikes and scooters earlier in 2015 and at the end of the year the Japanese marque added a range of updated 500cc machines and a maxi-scooter to the 2016 line-up.

2016 HONDA INTEGRA

The most visible updates for 2016 are the Integra’s new LED headlight and tail-light but the maxi-scooter from Honda also gains new Showa Dual Bending Valves front forks and LCD instruments with personalised colour options. The colour of the rev-counter bar display can also be changed by the rider; a total of nine options are available. It is also possible to have colours change according to gear selected, rpm range or (for the DCT version) riding mode. The Dual Clutch Transmission receives three-level S mode, plus further software upgrades in both MT and AT riding modes. The liquid-cooled, sohc eightvalve 750cc parallel twin-cylinder

engine gains EURO4 compliance and a revised exhaust muffler adds a deeper tone. Peak power is reported 40.3kW @ 6250rpm with maximum torque of 68Nm @ 4750rpm. The 14.1 litre under-seat fuel tank proves a claimed range of almost 250 miles. Kerb weight is 238kg and seat height 790mm. The Integra has lightweight twochannel ABS.

2016 HONDA CB500F

The CB500F is Honda’s mid-weight naked street bike. For 2016 it gets a makeover with a more stripped down, muscular look. It has been upgraded with a larger 16.7 litre fuel tank, LED lighting, spring preload adjustable front forks, new lightweight exhaust and adjustable brake lever. The bike is A2 licence-friendly, with its 471cc dohc, eight-valve liquid-cooled parallel twin that delivers a reported 35kW at 8500rpm, with 43Nm torque at 7000rpm. Although this bike looks like it’s built for fire-breathing fun, it’s very economical and Honda claims that a tankful of petrol has a range of nearly 300 miles. The bike is pretty light with a reported kerb weight of 192kg. Seat height is low at 785mm and ABS is fitted as standard.

2016 HONDA CBR500R

Honda’s CBR500R – on sale since 2013 – has been a popular bike among those who want a sporty middleweight machine with a racing DNA. The new CBR500R has been treated to comprehensive

14 www.twistngo.com

upgrades and a distinct, aggressive new look. Revisions include LED lighting, larger 16.7 litres fuel tank, adjustable front forks – plus, what Honda describes as a satisfying howl from its redesigned masscentralised exhaust. The CBR500R’s 471cc eightvalve liquid-cooled parallel twin dohc engine makes it A2 licence compliant, with reported peak power of 35kW at 8500rpm and 43Nm torque at 7000rpm. Seat height is low at 785mm, and kerb weight 194kg. ABS is fitted as standard.

2016 HONDA CB500X

The A2 licence-friendly Honda CB500X mid-range adventure machine gets a major boost to its crossover style with improved wind protection and taller screen. It has also acquired a larger fuel tank, LED lighting, spring preload adjustable front forks and adjustable brake lever. Fuel capacity has grown to 17.5 litres, extending claimed tank range to over 300 miles, which is pretty impressive. The engine is 471cc dohc, eight-valve liquid-cooled parallel twin. Claimed peak power of 35kW arrives at 8500rpm, with 43Nm torque delivered at 7000rpm. The adventure set-up on this machine means that the CB500X is slightly heavier than the other two Hondas in this category with kerb weight of 196kg. The seat is also slightly higher at 810mm. ABS is fitted as standard.

LOWEMI SION SCOOTERS FROM KYMCO KYMCO introduced three EURO4 emission standard compliant scooters for 2016 when it showed the world its full range of bikes at the EICMA show in Milan.

EURO4-CERTIFIED DEEP BLUE DOWNTOWN 350I

KAWASAKI ENTERS THE 125CC SCOOTER MARKET Kawasaki unveiled the new J125 scooter, a smaller version of the J300 at the EICMA show in Milan in November 2015. The A1 licence friendly machine is Kawasaki’s response to the likes of Honda PCX and Yamaha Nmax in the popular 125cc scooter market. Kawasaki’s approach is to create what they call a high-end commuter that will be attractive to those who are looking for a quality 125cc scooter. It will also provide a natural stepping stone for people to upgrade to the 300cc version. The new bike, which has been created in partnership with KYMCO features ABS brakes, an automatic underseat courtesy light and shutter style security ignition as well as the convenience of a rider friendly 12v on-the-go charger socket in the glove box. It also benefits from ‘twist-and-go’ CVT transmission, electric starting, fuel injection and water-cooling.

BMW G

The Downtown is not exactly a new bike (it was first revealed back in 2014) but for 2016 it gets a new ‘Deep Blue’ colour scheme and EURO4 approved emission specifications. The seat has been ergonomically designed for comfort, and the Downtown comes with a large under seat storage space that is reported to fit two full-face helmets. ABS comes as standard.

X-TOWN 300I / 125I

G-DINK 300I ABS

The G-Dink is another scooter that KYMCO has upgraded to meet the EURO4 standards. It is a medium sized, multi-purpose scooter. According to KYMCO the design of the new generation G-Dink places emphasis on riding stability and comfort. At the front of the G-Dink is a new twin-headlamp. With more storage capacity, a built-in USB charging port, and a newly shaped front seat, KYMCO promises an improvement in both comfort and convenience.

BRIX N BX 125 FROM KSR The first sub-500cc BMW roadster The G310R has a completely newly developed 313cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine with four valves and two overhead camshafts together with electronic fuel injection. Low fuel consumption and a relaxed, comfortable seating position combined with what BMW calls ‘powerful dynamic performance’ means that this is not just a city bike, but should also be capable of taking on the open roads and longer journeys. According to BMW it offers relaxed, stress-free and easy-going motorcycling. The claimed power output is 25kW (34bhp) at 9500rpm and the maximum torque 28Nm at 7500rpm. Weight is reported at 158.5 kilograms. ABS is fitted as standard.

The X-Town has a whole new sporty appearance with an ‘X’ shaped taillight, and according to KYMCO it offers extra comfort for a superior riding experience. KYMCO says it has also improved the storage space which can fit up to two full-face helmets. Both new versions (125cc and 300cc) of the X-Town meet the EURO4 requirements. ABS is a standard feature on both versions.

U The new 125cc Brixton BX 125 from KSR Group combines traditional styling with the latest modern features like LED-lighting, LED-indicators, digital speedometer, combined braking system (CBS), front and rear disc brakes. The Japanese developed air-cooled single cylinder EFI-engine produces claimed maximum power of 8.4kW. The production of the bike starts in the second quarter of 2016 and according to the manufacturer more models will follow including a Café Racer and a 250cc ngine, which is already under ment.

DUCA

EILS SC MBLER S The new Sixty2 is the little brother of the 800cc Ducati Scrambler, apparently inspired by the youth culture of skateboarding, surfing and pop music. It looks the part next to the bigger scramblers while opening the category to people with an A2 licence. The 399cc, L-Twin cylinder, air-cooled engine delivers claimed peak power of 30.2kW (41bhp) at 8750rpm and torque of 34.6Nm (3.5kgm) at 8000rpm. The bike is future-proofed as it’s already EURO4 compatible. There are a number of nice design details such as steel tank; front headlight with glass lens, LED positioning light with interchangeable surround; rear headlight with LED technology; and LCD instrumentation with interchangeable surround. The Sixty2 also features Brembo braking system with two-channel ABS. Fuel tank capacity is 14 litres, which should give a decent range. The seat is reasonably low at 790mm. Dry weight is 167kg.

PEUGEOT L UNCHES SPECIAL EDI The French manufacturer brings several ‘premium special series’ (that’s new colours and other visual upgrades to you and me) scooters out for 2016, but no new models. Peugeot’s most popular models, such as the Kisbee 50, Speedfight 50, Django 50/125/150, Tweet Evo 50/125/150, Citystar 50/125/200, Satelis 125/400 and Metropolis 400 will all benefit from the special series treatment that includes new colour schemes and other stylistic touches.

Each of these models features a brand new dark brown saddle, ‘Azzurro 70’ colour scheme, special paintwork on the rims and a special logo on the sides and the identification plate fixed on the legshield backplate. The new bag-top box also comes as standard equipment.

LEXMOTO EXTENDS ITS RANGE Lexmoto offers an impressive choice of 125cc machines and for 2016 it has added new and altered models to the range. Right: One of them is the Lexmoto ZSX-F 125 with a semi faired body, disc brakes, under seat storage and a luggage rack.

A MEDLEY OF SCOOTERS FROM PIAGGIO

N RIEJU T SPECIAL EDITIONS

Piaggio, the Italian scooter giant, is always one to keep an eye on when it comes to new bike launches – especially on its own turf in Italy. For 2016 Piaggio has relaunched the legendary Liberty, revealed the new Medley and introduced an interesting electric bike.

WI-BIKE

The Piaggio Wi-Bike is powered by a 250W-350W Piaggio electric power plant with reported 50Nm of torque. The display is ‘contactless’ (automatically powered near the electronic control unit) and it acts as an electronic key, making the Wi-Bike unusable when it is removed. The 400Wh lithium ion battery is lodged under the saddle at the vertical pipe. It has a GPS/GSM module that acts both as a satellite anti-theft device and as an element to transmit data to and from the battery. Piaggio has also developed the PMP multimedia platform which allows your smartphone to integrate with the vehicle via Bluetooth.

LIBERTY REBORN

Piaggio Liberty certainly isn’t new (in fact it was first launched 18 years ago and has sold around 900,000 units since) but for 2016 Piaggio has revamped the 50, 125 and 150 versions of the scooter. Piaggio says that the new generation of Liberty is more comfortable with the dimensions increased slightly. The helmet compartment is now more spacious and ABS braking system comes as standard on the 125 and 150cc versions. The stylistic approach has not changed, but there are modern touches such as new digital instrumentation and headlight units with LED daylight running lights. The Liberty features the new generation of iGet engines, available in 50, 125 and 150cc engine capacities, which Piaggio says will maximise performance and decrease consumption.

Rieju’s new Trophy special edition bikes are the MRT 50 and 125. The new bikes feature red anodized R16V suspension, fat bars, LED indicators, Galfer wave disc brakes, SM spoked wheels set with red anodized rims and coloured hubs, plus a host of colour coded components like domino grips and engine covers.

QUADRO BIG Q Quadro4 gains extra muscle and attitude

NEW MEDLEY

Medley is the new scooter from Piaggio that the company says combines the advantages of an agile and lightweight vehicle (total weight is 135kg) with the performance and dimensions of a high wheel scooter. This is a totally new product and has several modern features such as daylight running lights with ‘lightguide’ technology and the new multifunction digital instrumentation. Also included as standard are the two-channel ABS system and immobilizer. The Medley features the new generation Piaggio iGet engines with four valves and liquid cooling available in 125 and 150cc engine capacities and with the ‘Start & Stop’ system. Piaggio says that Medley offers performance at the top of its category, reduced fu consumption and service intervals, as well as excellent ri in without vibrations, quick response from a standstill and exceptiona

ZERO MOTORCYCLES ARE FULLY CHA

Following the launch of Quadro4 earlier in 2015 Quadro Vehicles revealed a new Quadro Big Q with high intensity LED illumination, strong sump and skid plates and a powerful new 630cc super-mono engine. The two-wheel drive system features a self-locking differential, with lightweight alloy wheels and oversized all-terrain tyres.

ED FOR 201

Electric bike manufacturer Zero Motorcycles has released details of its new 2016 models, including a 67bhp dualsport machine. The new range includes two new models and technical updates across the line. All new bikes feature internal 120v chargers, Showa suspension, J-Juan brakes, Pirelli tyres and Bosch ABS. The full 2016 range includes: Motocross-style Zero FX and a more street-oriented Zero FXS; Dual-sport Zero DS and the higher performance Zero DSR, with a 67bhp engine compared to the 54bhp of the base model; Roadster-styled Zero S and Zero SR.

SUZ

OES LAR

WITH VA VanVan 200 is another bike unveiled at EICMA. It is a bigger version of the firm’s popular VanVan 125. The new 200cc variant is hoping to attract A2 licence holders looking for more performance over the learner-friendly 125cc model. The bike has a four-stroke, onecylinder, air-cooled engine that has been, according to Suzuki, designed with emphasis on low-tomid range power and street-friendly characteristics. The new bike has the

same distinctly styled seat as the 125 version that reaches over the slim shaped fuel tank. Suzuki has put effort into making this a convenient bike to use with a push-button electric starter, low 770mm seat height and a fairly light mass of 128kg. It also has a one-piece grab bar with luggage hooks. Adding a touch of class is the speedometer with black face and white numbers that glow green in the dark. Fuel capacity is 6.5 litres.

NEW AND UPGRADED MACHINES FROM SYM SYM has unveiled a line-up of scooters and even a café racer bike. Although it is still not certain which bikes will make it to the UK we wanted to share a selection of them with you to give you a flavour of the Taiwanese manufacturer’s approach for 2016.

ROAD STAR – JOYRIDE S

The new Joyride S gets a makeover and better performance. Maximum output is 10.5kW (125i) / 13kW (200i), up by 9.4% and 14% respectively. The Joyride S also features combined brakes in the 125cc version and ABS in the 200cc model.

MAXSYM 500

One of the scooters that SYM displayed at the E was the Maxsym 500. Not many details are available at present, but we understand that the design was inspired by wolves. Yep, that’s right, wolves.

RETRO SOUL – WOLF SB300 CAFÉ RACER

SB300 is equipped with a 278cc fourvalve liquid-cooled engine. According to SYM the counterbalance shaft engine reduces vibration in order to improve riding comfort. The bike will be launched soon in Taiwan, but the UK launch has not yet been confirmed. It will have ABS braking as standard and a 14 litre fuel capacity.

ROYAL LIFE – JOYMAX SPORT VERSION

Joymax is the best-selling model of SYM scooters. The Joymax 125i Sport version increases its maximum output to 11kW. The scooter features a ‘Stop & Start’ system and ABS, to make it safe and environmentally friendly.
