Centrally-located, the Public Safety Training Center (PSTC) may save you travel time and money spent on overnight accommodations. The PSTC located in Camdenton, Missouri has a large defensive tactics/tactical training room and an off-site range for live-fire training. It is equipped for simulated munitions and stresselevated practical scenarios. The Center’s four large classrooms can accommodate over 50 students using MSU’s web conferencing technology.

LODGING AT A LOWER COST Partnerships with Lake of the Ozarks resorts and restaurants provide enjoyable options well below the cost of traveling to Jefferson City, Kansas City, or St. Louis. In the event that overnight travel is required for specialty, tactical, or practical-heavy courses, costsaving lodging and meal options are available through agreements with local merchants.

Missouri State Public Safety Training Center provides: • Unlimited basic and advanced training hours for contract partners. • Affordable pricing for non-contract partners. • Annual tracking of hours accrued, with monthly reporting to agency Chief/Sheriff, for those agencies under contract. • Expanded course offerings/topics based on your special requests. • Web-based course scheduling and enrollment. • Innovative, advanced, specialty, supervisory, and certifying courses.

TAKE CLASSES FROM A DISTANCE Select courses can be delivered through web conferencing technology, allowing you to connect to your class using your desktop, tablet, iPhone, laptop, etc. from anywhere in the world (with internet accessibility) at a specified classroom time.
CONTRACT RATES $250 per year, per officer (guarantees 24 hours of POST continuing education, and unlimited hours above and beyond 24). Courses with additional equipment or service fees are provided at a reduced rate for individuals under contract. For agencies under contract, the PSTC will track the completed hours for all employed officers and provide monthly training reports to the agency training official.

NON-CONTRACT RATES Per-course rate are available to all individuals/ agencies not under a training contract. Basic classroom course rates are $60 for a 4 hour course; $120 for an 8 hour course. Courses longer than 8 hours cost $15 per hour per attendee. Courses may be priced above this basic rate for additional equipment and/or instructor’s fees.
