LITERACY (ONLINE) Gain the necessary knowledge, skills and dispositions to be a literacy educator certified to teach kindergarten through grade 12. Completion of this 39 hour master’s program, with courses delivered online, will make you highly marketable in your field. YOUR LITERACY CONTACT:

If your passion is to help others, earn your master’s degree in social work from Missouri State. Courses could be offered in a variety of formats, including seated at the Joplin campus, web conference, and online. Offered in two formats, one 34 credit hour format for students with a current accredited BSW degree, and one 62 credit hour format for students who have a bachelor’s degree in an area other than social work.

EDUCATIONAL LEADERSHIP — DOCTORATE The field of education needs great leadership. Through this collaborative degree program between Missouri State and the University of Missouri (MU), discover courses that will bring you closer to your leadership goals. Spend a few weeks each summer taking courses at the MU campus. The remainder of the required coursework is available in the Joplin region through web conferencing and online.
