NOTES from the MSU Finance and General Business Department Head: • Consult with your OTC advisor regarding requirements for the Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree. • Additional elective hours have been included in the A.A. degree in order to complete both the A.A. degree and the admission requirements (62 hours required; 64 hours shown). • All Missouri State University degree requirements must be met; including at least 125 hours and a minimum of 40 hours of upper division (courses numbered 300 and above) credit. Complete a minimum of at least 30 hours of courses administered by the Springfield campus. Complete at least 20 out of the last 30 hours in courses administered by the Springfield campus. • If needed, approved electives to bring the total credit hours to 125 required for graduation, may be completed at MSU or OTC. • Fifty percent of all business coursework must be completed at MSU. • Must get a C or higher in College Algebra (MTH 130) if ACC 201 (ACC 220) and QBA 237 (MTH 210) are taken at MSU. College Algebra is a prerequisite for both ACC 201 and QBA 237 at MSU.
