General Business (BS) • As a holder of an AS in Business or an AA degree with an emphasis in business (COB admission courses), earn this degree in West Plains through a combination of interactive video, iCourse, and online courses. • This program is designed to meet the needs of busy individuals who want to earn a college degree while balancing many commitments such as work and family. Courses are available leading to Graduate Degrees Counseling (Elementary and Secondary School Options) • Earn your Master of Science in Counseling degree with options in elementary and secondary school counseling available (in part) at the West Plains campus. • Interested in public school settings? You must have a valid Missouri teaching certificate, or complete additional teaching course work (approximately nine credit hours), to be eligible for state certification as professional school counselors. Master of Social Work • Attend classes held in the late afternoons and evenings, Monday through Thursday. • Offered as a regular part-time standing program for students who have a bachelor’s degree in an area other than social work. • Regular standing students may complete the program in 62 credit hours. • Practicum placements can be completed at approved locations in the West Plains and surrounding area.
