ELEMENTARY EDUCATION Interested in teaching grades 1-6? Attend classes, participate in field experience, and perform your student teaching all within the West Plains area to complete this degree. Graduate from a program that has a high rate of placement immediately following graduation.
Provide K-12 students with the life skills they need when you earn your CACREP accredited counseling degree and become a school counselor. Gain real world experience completing your practicum at the clinic in West Plains with live supervision from faculty. Students without a Missouri teaching certificate may also apply to this program and will be eligible for state certification as a professional school counselor with the completion of 9 hours of additional education coursework. EDUCATIONAL LEADERSHIP – DOCTORATE The field of education needs great leadership. Through this collaborative degree program between Missouri State and the University of Missouri (MU), discover courses that will bring you closer to your leadership goals.
