How to Plan Your Class Schedule Use the Four Year Plan chart on page 4. In the blank spaces, write in the classes you have already taken. Check what classes you have taken and compare it to the list of required classes needed to fulfill graduation credits (see page 4). Research courses you are interested in taking. Research includes reading the course descriptions, talking to department chairs and/or your teachers, and possibly students currently enrolled in the course.
