What do you look for when investing in a carry-on suitcase? I opt for quality and design and a piece of luggage which makes me excited to travel – I travel the world with a carry-on aluminum RIMOWA.
When time is of the essence, how do you plan your holiday outfits? Before I start packing, I plan my agenda on travels to get an idea of what kind of daily scenarios my days might have, whether it may be long beach days and lunches, nights out, long city walks exploring art, design, and food scenes or active outdoor adventures - it helps creating capsule looks for each of those days. Checking the weather is important as well so you don’t fall into the trap of overpacking for “what if” scenarios. How can one approach packing with a hand-luggage only? I have a travelsized version of all my favourite beauty necessities. In general, I can have 12-14 looks in my 6kg suitcase. Every piece I pack can be worn in combination with the other items in my suitcase. I also pack mainly lightweight clothes which need no ironing.
How about for longer trips with multiple destinations over the summer? I travel in the heaviest look from my packing list: jeans, boots (or bulky sneakers) and any warm outerwear, and then pack lightweight silk pyjamas in my handbag to change on the flight for comfort.
