The world will be watching as Emirates Golf Club hosts an OMEGA Dubai Moonlight Classic unlike any of the city’s 13 previous LET stops. The strategy has been realigned to attain a global TV audience with NBC’s Golf Channel, Sky Sport in the UK and Ireland and our own Dubai Sports Channel among the stable of broadcasters set to beam three hours of live coverage into a potential 348 million households across 60 countries each of the next three days. If fans can’t make it to The Faldo, take Sir Nick’s testy layout (and, by no accident, Dubai’s night golf offering and that stunning Marina Skyline backdrop) to the people sitting at home, many of them suddenly back in lockdown and desperate for a distraction.
