RST 2025 COLLECTION HIGHLIGHTS
As part of our ongoing commitment to innovation and excellence, we are excited to unveil the Supersport-K leather jacket, the pinnacle of RST’s leather jacket collection for 2025. The Supersport-K is the highest specification leather jacket we’ve has ever created, combining premium Kangaroo leather with the latest generation 4-way stretch fabric and a 3D mesh lining.
Meeting the highest AAA CE certification and including Level 2 armour, the Supersport-K jacket is built for the ultimate performance and protection.
Additionally, for 2025 we have introduced the RST Vulcan, the ultimate adventure/ touring motorbike jacket and jean combo. Using the latest Lx3 laminated fabric, built-in stretch and designed with multiple direct-to-body ventilation panels, the Vulcan sets a new standard for adventure/touring motorbike gear.

The 5th generation of our legendary TracTech Evo racing suit takes things to a whole other level. With enhanced ergonomics all round, ensuring a perfect fit on the bike and supreme comfort when you’re in the paddock. Equipped with a new collar design that brings added comfort when in a racing tuck position. Made from a heavy duty and robust HD wax cotton and reinforced with Aramid Fibre. The jacket comes with CE Level 1 shoulder and elbow armour and a pocket for a back protector. Built with Aramid Fibre - the TracTech Evo 4 glove combines the best of previous TracTech gloves with more features for a superb fit, comfort and protection. Made with both full-grain cowhide and kangaroo leather, the glove features a Carbon Knuckle Protector for impact protection. This glove maximises protection by using Aramid Fibre on the palm stitching and underlay, along with double layer kangaroo leather and an RST palm slider to protect the palm. Made with both full-grain cowhide and kangaroo leather, the glove features a Carbon Knuckle Protector for impact protection. CE STANDARD EN17092:
TESTED FOR:
- SLEEVE RESTRAINT – To avoid user’s body being exposed in an accident.
- TEAR STRENGTH AND SEAM STRENGTH – To avoid clothing bursting open.
- ABRASION RESISTANCE – To avoid damage due to the road surface.
- FIT AND ERGONOMICS – To ensure the glove is comfortable to wear when riding.
- IMPACT PROTECTION – To avoid injuries caused by hitting solid objects.
- MATERIAL ZONING – To ensure materials in areas most at risk offer additional protection (for example, elbow area).
There are five levels of protection offered by RST:
LEVEL AAA
Designed to the highest level of protection, however there may be ergonomic or weight penalties associated with use.
LEVEL AA
Offers a balance between the level of protection available and any ergonomic or weight penalties associated with its use.
LEVEL A
This offers a lower level of protection and is designed to reduce ergonomic and weight penalties. The intended use for this level is where conditions would make higher levels more inappropriate. For example in warmer weather conditions.
LEVEL B
Offers limited protection against abrasion injuries, equivalent to Level A. It is recommended that these garments are worn with separate impact protectors for more complete protection.
LEVEL C
Designed to be ridden with a level B garment. Level C garments contain impact protectors only, and is not tested for abrasion. For complete protection, these must be worn with a level B over garment.
IMPACT PROTECTOR

- MINIMUM DIMENSIONS – To ensure good coverage of protection.
- IMPACT PROTECTION – To avoid injuries caused by hitting solid objects.
- FIT AND ERGONOMICS – To ensure the protector is comfortable to wear when riding.
There are two levels of protection offered by RST:

GLOVE

BOOT

- ABRASION RESISTANCE – TO AVOID DAMAGE DUE TO THE ROAD SURFACE.
- FIT AND ERGONOMICS – TO ENSURE THE BOOT IS COMFORTABLE TO WEAR WHEN RIDING.
- TRANSVERSE RIGIDITY – TO AVOID DAMAGE DUE TO CRUSHING.
The Boots CE Level is split into four sections, this is shown on the product as:
A B C D With each section being either LEVEL 1 (designed to give protection whilst offering lower ergonomic penalties) or LEVEL 2 (offering increased protection, however there may be weight or ergonomic penalties associated with this)
A – Height of Upper (Level 1 = Ankle Height, Level 2 = Shin Height)
B – Abrasion Resistance
C – Cut Resistance
D - Transverse Rigidity
In addition, there are a number of optional tests, including:
- IPA / IPS – IMPACT PROTECTION FOR THE ANKLE (IPA) OR SHIN (IPS)
- WR – RESISTANCE TO WATER PENETRATION
GLOSSARY
AMARA
Soft suede-like microfibre noted for its durability.
ANILINE WAXED LEATHER
This leather is drum dyed with special aniline dyes that permeate the entire hide, it is then finished with a special wax treatment that gives a premium fashion look whilst retaining high levels of abrasion and tear strength.
BALLISTIC
A densely woven, heavy weight Polyester fabric using fine fibres that offers extreme abrasion resistance, tear and cut strength.
BONDED NYLON THREAD
Used in leather garments, Bonded Nylon is stronger than regular Nylon threads. The bonding agent which coats the Nylon fibres give this thread added strength and reduces friction at the needle resulting in smooth and strong stitches.
CORDURA®
Strong, versatile fabric, great for combatting the toughest environments. Helps protect against tears, scuffs and abrasions.
CORESPUN POLYESTER THREAD
Used in textile garments, Corespun Polyester has extreme tensile strength and works with a wide range of textile fabrics. The high strength core offers additional strength and abrasion resistance compared to staple spun thread.
CRC
A specially woven Nylon / Polyester / Elastane mix that has up-to a 6% stretch for enhanced comfort and ergonomics.
DWR
A durable water repellent treatment to the outer fabric, helping water to bead off and reducing the risk of the fabric wetting out.
FULL GRAIN LEATHER
Full grain leather that offers excellent abrasion and tear strength. Each hide is visually inspected and batch tested before being selected for use by one of our in-house craftsmen.
HIPORA®
A three-layer micro-porous silicone coated waterproof and breathable membrane used in boots and gloves.
HTC
HTC is a high tenacity Nylon fabric that combines outstanding levels of abrasion and tear strength and is highly supple and offers excellent levels of comfort.
KANGAROO
Kangaroo leather has up to 10 times the tensile strength compared to standard cowhide, enabling a lower thickness to be used. This guarantees excellent abrasion and tear strength whilst offering maximum comfort and enhanced ergonomics.
KEVLAR®
DuPont™ Kevlar® has a unique combination of high strength, high modulus, toughness and thermal stability. It was developed for demanding industrial and advanced-technology applications.
K-492 MESH
This mesh fabric gives a high level of abrasion and tear strength whilst allowing a large volume of airflow, used in low risk zones combined with other main fabrics.
K-540 MESH
With larger holes (4 times larger than K-492) K-540 mesh fabric flows a massive amount of air whilst still providing protection against abrasion, tear and cut strength.
MAXTEX
MaxTex is a 600 denier Polyester fabric that offers a good balance of protection and ergonomics. Developed exclusively for RST, MaxTex offers a higher abrasion resistance than regular 600 denier Polyester.
MICROFIBRE
Synthetic leather ideally suited for boots. Easily shaped to aid construction, water repellent and resistant to stretching.
MOTION PANEL
An area of accordion panel stitched leather or fabric backed with elastic to offer greater ergonomics and easy natural movement whilst wearing the garment.
PREMIUM DRUM DYED COWHIDE
The highest quality hide, drum dyed and treated with special silicones, only full-grain leather is used. This leather offers superior abrasion and tear resistance and is super-soft and supple.
REFLEX
Reflective material, can either be laminated to the outer fabric or as piping.
RIPSTOP
Ripstop Nylon is extremely tough. Ideal for use in garments that will be worn in the toughest conditions.
SINAQUA
A three-layer durable waterproof and breathable membrane offering breathability of 5000 g/m2/24h of and a waterproof rating of over 10000mm/ cm3
SINAQUA PRO
An ultra-durable three-layer waterproof and breathable membrane, offering exceptional breathability 11500 g/m2/24h of and a waterproof rating of over 15000mm/cm3
SINAQUA PRO LAMINATE
An ultra-durable three-layer waterproof and breathable membrane, offering exceptional breathability 11500 g/m2/24h of and a waterproof rating of over 15000mm/cm3 laminated to the outer fabric.
SUPERFABRIC®
SuperFabric® material provides high levels of protection and is especially touted for its abrasion resistance.
SYMPATEX®
A highly breathable 4-layer waterproof membrane used in footwear and gloves. Footwear and gloves with Sympatex deliver excellent performance, protection and wear comfort in all weather conditions.
THERMAL LINING
Available in 3 weights;150g / 200g / 300g the higher the weight the thicker the lining, offering greater thermal retention.
TPU SHOULDER / KNEE CUPS
External cups positioned over the Armour to deflect the energy of an impact. Made of Thermoplastic Polyurethane with a low coefficient of friction.
VX
A lightweight special woven Nylon/Polyester mix that has a soft and supple hand feel. VX is highly protective and enables enhanced levels of tailoring of garments where this fabric is used.
VX-R
A medium weight special woven Nylon/Polyester mix that has a soft and supple hand feel. VX-R is highly protective and enables enhanced levels of tailoring of garments where this fabric is used.
WAX COTTON
Synthetic wax is pre-impregnated into the cotton for a modern take on the traditional wax look. This fabric offers excellent protective qualities.
4-WAY WOVEN STRETCH
High tenacity Nylon woven stretch fabric incorporating ultra high abrasion resistant fibres and a multi-directional stretch capacity.
