Walk to Defeat MND Redcliffe 2024

Our last walk for 2024 was held at Redcliffe on Sunday 1 December. With only one month’s notice, we had 138 registrants sign up and they raised over $20,000 to support MND Queensland’s work!

Our sincere appreciation goes out to all of our participants, volunteers, donors and vendors. We really couldn’t have done it without you!

A huge thank you to the Redcliffe Sunrise Rotary Club and Nundah Rotary Club for not only offering to keep everyone fed, but for donating the proceeds to our wonderful cause!

Thank you to Jon and the team at Bridge FM who helped to spread the word and raise awareness over the weekend, and to the Drewe family for sharing their story and leading the group as our ‘Walk Champions’. We are so lucky to have such wonderful contributors within our MND community.

Our first 2025 walk will be at the Gold Coast on 23 March and we have walks planned for Brisbane, Cairns, Townsville, Gladstone, Maroochydore, Toowoomba and Redcliffe. Want a walk in your area?
