Isuzu Truck UK (ITUK) was formed in 1996 and is a wholly owned subsidiary of Isuzu Motors Japan. It is a dedicated commercial vehicle sales, marketing and aftersales operation with more than 60 strategically located UK dealers, offering sales and aftersales support packages.
The 3.5- to 13.5-tonne vehicles come with a 3-year, unlimited-mileage warranty and Isuzu Roadside Assist as standard, and extended warranties are available for certain models.
ITUK’s unique and award-winning CARE (Customer facing, Always listening, Reliable and trustworthy, Efficient and friendly) programme supports every customer proactively over the life of the vehicle. This approach continues to make Isuzu Truck a firm favourite with retail and fleet organisations across the country.
Comprising a broad range of chassis cabs with wheelbases to suit a vast array of applications, Isuzu Truck’s UK market share continues to grow across the sectors in which it operates. Driveaway vehicle body options include dropside, tipper, utility, curtainsider and box at both 3.5 and 7.5 tonnes. The bodies are fitted in conjunction with ITUK’s bodybuilder partners, TGS Group, Brit Tipp and PPS Commercials. The programme offers ready-to-go vehicles that can be customised to specific requirements with the addition of items such as tow bars, flashing beacons, fall arrest protection, cage conversions and Chapter 8 safety liveries. The Driveaway product is simple and convenient. There is one invoice for the complete vehicle – which is fully typeapproved – integrated financial documentation and, of course, the pre-built nature of the programme normally means lead times are much shorter than for conventional orders.
ITUK’s 7.5-tonne N75 is at home in any environment, and has long been admired for its outstanding performance including its impressive payload capacity, small turning circle and relatively small physical footprint. The N75’s compact dimensions are ideally suited to urban and rural operations alike, with low chassis weight giving a higher axle tolerance and load latitude across the vehicle.
