e a r s a g o, i t w a s a s i f magic was in the air when the holidays rolled a ro u n d . E a ch ye a r t h e wh o l e family would hop in the car to make a special trip into town to scour the street on a hunt for the perfect holiday gift for each of our family and friends. Po i n s e t t i a s , t w i n k l i n g l i g h t s , silver and gold or naments, greener y and red bows, would decorate the stores while Nat King Cole filled the room putting you in the holiday spirit. While showering loved ones with gifts has become a big par t of holiday traditions for many Americans, online shopping has made the whole experience less enchanting. T h i s y e a r, t h e e f f e c t s o f the global pandemic have disrupted the retail industr y forcing people to rethink how t h e y f i n d t h e i r h o l i d ay g i f t s .
