CONTROL TORSION SYSTEM We use this system to link the base and cap of the ski to the tip and tail in order to stiffen the torsion of the ski.
CONTROL TORSION SYSTEM LIGHT The light cap ABS sidewall is unique in the way that the ABS runs through to the wood core of the ski and works also as a form of reinforcement. This system also offers a weight gain over the classic CTS.
CAP CONSTRUCTION This system is used to bind the base and top of the ski along the whole length in order to reduce weight in the Touring range.
FULL SIDEWALL CONSTRUCTION The full sidewall system includes ABS throughout the ski to make it more solid and durable – available throughout the Freestyle range.
TPT TECHNOLOGY All of our MOVEMENT experience & expertise is used in this construction. Only the best materials are used, but the key to this technology remains a closely-guarded secret!
NEW TECHNOLOGY This is a semi-automated construction process. Part of process is manual, namely the weaving of the fiberglass and the carbon fiber layers. These categories of skis undergo a special finishing process involving compression of the fibers to reduce weight. This construction is only possible for a limited series and exclusively designed for the high mountain program.

MATERIALS
The wood core of a ski is fundamentally important; not only does it give the ski its liveliness, it also pre-determines the ski’s durability and therefore differs hugely between the different ranges (piste-freeridefreestyle-touring). We continue to only use wood cores that are certified FCS and PEPS (www.fcs.org, www.pefc. org). We use the following woods in our manufacturing: Okume, Poplar, LG Poplar Light, Karuba, ultralight Karuba. Every core is designed to match the qualities of the relevant ski.
We use exclusively top quality sintered bases with high molecular density. We use 3 different P-Tex bases throughout the range which are carefully chosen to match the individual ski.
MLT = Multi Axial Light Technologie We have developed this material from a combination of classic fibers woven with complex tri-axial carbon fibers. This new material is used throughout the touring and free-touring ranges (MLT by MOVEMENT SKIS), with the aim of improving the durability of the skis at the same time as minimizing weight.
We reviewed the way we use our different edges throughout the entire range, with a focus on increasing durability of the skis that get the heaviest use. We’ve done this by varying the thickness of the edge along the length of the majority of the skis. The touring and free touring ranges now benefit from a wider edge in places to help resist impacts associated with poor snow cover. The only skis with a completely straight and thinner edge profile are the competition touring range for weight-saving reasons.
SPECIFICATIONS VIBRATION ABSORBER We have developed a new natural rubber layer which incorporates fiberglass. This is placed in the front of the skis to absorb vibrations.
ABS SHOCK ABSORBER We’ve introduced an ASA system (ABS shock absorber) situated in the underfoot area of the ski to act as a shock absorber.
BEECH SHOCK ABSORBER A band of hard wood (beech) positioned horizontally in the central part of the ski under the wood core to absorb shocks.

DOUBLE PLATE REINFORCEMENT FIBER & TITANAL We have also developed a new system of two layers, one with fiberglass and the other one in titan (DPR Titanal). These two layers are completely integrated under the bindings so that we can guarantee the perfect anchorage of screws.
