WESTON — According to reports, Brendon Stout, Camden, has been charged with sexual abuse after admitting to exposing himself to a juvenile and asking for sex and nude photos from the child during an interview with deputies from the Lewis County Sheriff’s Department. This past week deputies interviewed Stout regarding alleged incidents of sexual abuse against a now 14-yearold female family member. The abuse is alleged to have begun when the juvenile was 10 years old. According to the criminal complaint, deputies said Stout admitted to making sexual contact with the girl seven or eight times during the time period 2015-2019. According to reports, Stout admitted to exposing his genitals to the girl on two separate occasions. He also admitted to asking her to give him nude photographs of herself, as well as propositioning the girl for sexual intercourse. Stout is currently free on a $50,012 bond.

past Friday. Camden Creek Creations is owned by Melissa Garrett. She started the business three years ago in her home as a hobby to make items for her shop. Word got around and it became a prudent move to open shop up in town. “Things have been really busy,” she said of opening the new location in July.
The store employs Garrett plus to other employees. Guests in attendance were also treated to a BBQ lunch with all the trimmings. The store features embroidery, vinyl, screen print, hats, shirts, hoodies, jackets, decals, bags, license plates, jewelry, and much more. You can also have items personalized for teams, groups,
businesses, events, and whatever else your customization needs might require. Local team t-shirts, sweatshirts and other items are available at the store. Snuffer, Starkey Council updated Harvest Gathering this honored by BOE on finances weekend By John Clise Editor
WESTON — A harvest gathering, full of crafts, activities, games, and food, is set for downtown Weston is set for this Saturday from 4 to 8 p.m. Organizers say they event will include face painting, hay wagon rides, food vendors, arts, crafts, dessert contest, hot dog eating contest, pumpkin decorating contest, a duck pool, cornhole tournament, games, pony rides, music by Intent, and much more. The dessert contest will take entries from 4 to 5 p.m. with a focus on pumpkin pies and fall desserts. The hot dog eating contest will take place at 6 p.m. The pumpkin decorating contest will be taking entries from 4 to 6:30 p.m. The cornhole tournament will take place at 4 p.m. Plans are also being made to show a movie sponsored by Lewis County First for the entire family. There will be an awards ceremony at 7:30 to recognize winners in the contests and hand out ribbons to the winners. There will also be a dunking booth with surprise guest taking their place in the booth. There are currently approximately 30 vendors signed up for the event. Some of those vendors include Bob Taylor selling his birdhouses and other craft items. Hardman Paletti Funeral Home will be giving away a $250 gift card. The Pricetown Food Pantry will be collecting food items for the needy. Sheer Bliss will be collecting coats for the needy. Paint Misbehavin’ will be painting faces. Other vendors will be selling caramel apples, Romney apples, baked goods, decals, jewelry, baby clothes, and Tupperware among others. Main Avenue will be closed from Second Street to First Street to allow vendors to set up, and allow for a more safe atmosphere for gathering goers. Council dismissed former finance manager DodieArbogast at a recent meeting. Linn man suspect of interest in disappearance
