Welcome to the 2019 Relay For Life of Upshur County Our mission statement is: For the taken we morn, For the sick we support, For the survivor we stand, The future we walk on, hand in hand. Theme for 2019 Relay for Life of Upshur County is: Relay Party Gras I would like to welcome you to our 22nd Annual Relay For Life event in Upshur County. We are so excited to be holding our event this year downtown at Jawbone Park. Many thanks to the City of Buckhannon for welcoming us to participate at Jawbone. The desire is to make this a community event to teach others about Relay for Life and how The American Cancer Society can help you in your time of need. Many thanks to the Relay for Life teams who fundraise to help find a cure for cancer. To the sponsors and the businesses who have supported us, we are truly thankful. But most of all we love our cancer survivors, who are the true heart of Relay. May God continue to richly bless each and every one of you. It truly has been our honor to serve you this year as co-Event Chairs for Relay for Life for 2019. Daisy Hunt and Lori Harris, Chairpersons/Event Lead

Thank you for attending the annual Relay For Life of Upshur County! We have a very exciting event planned for you, and we’re excited you’re here to take part! I would like to thank all of our Team Captains and our participants. Without their continued support, we wouldn’t be here today to celebrate, remember and fight back! If you see someone in a ??? Relay t-shirt, be sure to give them a round of applause! It’s through their hard work and dedication to finding a cure that makes this event possible. Mike Alkire, Senior Manager Relay For Life South Atlantic Division American Cancer Society, Inc. 122 South High St. Morgantown, WV 26501 Why We Relay The American Cancer Society Relay For Life represents the hope that those lost to cancer will never be forgotten, that those who face cancer will be supported, and that one day cancer will be eliminated.
