Core Sound Waterfowl Museum and Heritage Center has been preserving the heritage and culture of Down East Carteret County for 30 years. Located on Harkers Island in Carteret County, the Museum is dedicated to preserving and fostering waterfowl carving and the sport of waterfowling as well as capturing the way of life of the family fishing industries and boat building that has existed in this area for generations.
