A CONVERSATION WITH REVIENT RECLAIMED WOOD Revient Reclaimed Wood supplies authentic antique and reclaimed wood products, including flooring, wall paneling, barn wood, antique timbers and live-edge slabs. With an on-site inventory of more than 1 million board feet, and full milling and kiln-drying capabilities, Revient is equipped to provide wood for commercial and high-end residential projects nationwide.
WHAT’S IN A NAME? Revient means “to go back to.” To us, this means not only refurbishing decades-old wood, but also doing business the oldfashioned way, with integrity. We have the resources, experience and professionalism of a large firm, and the dedication and customer service of a small family business.
WHERE DO YOU SOURCE YOUR RECLAIMED WOOD? We specialize in Eastern hardwoods and heart pines, which are some of the oldest, most dense, and highest-quality American reclaimed woods. We salvage material from agrarian barns and historical industrial buildings, from an old Jim Beam distillery to the Edison, the building in which Thomas Edison manufactured phonographs. This variety of sources allows us to cater to a multitude of styles, from modern to rustic.
HOW DO YOU PREPARE SALVAGED MATERIAL FOR ITS SECOND LIFE? After a building is safely dismantled, each board goes through a 15-point quality-control process. The material is de-nailed, treated for insects, stacked for air-drying, and surface cleaned. We also add value to the material through special milling processes, wire-brushing, and sorting by patina and species to achieve each client’s desired look. ‘’I have just completed my new rustic style home in Jackson WY. And can say unequivocally that dealing with Revient Reclaimed Woods was one of my most pleasant experiences in dealing with numerous vendors...Five stars out of five for product, customer service and follow-up.’’ - Lee Lipscomb Teton Village WY
WHAT MAKES RECLAIMED WOOD DESIRABLE? Reclaimed wood offers a rich history and an inimitable patina. It is beautiful, high-quality wood from trees that grew in a mature forest, and therefore much denser and stronger than new wood. It is also sustainable: We are taking down buildings that would otherwise rot, be burned or end up in a landfill, we are conserving timber resources, and we are stimulating the economy through job creation.
WHERE CAN WE SEE YOUR PRODUCTS IN THIS YEAR’S SUMMIT COUNTY PARADE OF HOMES? Revient’s Traditional Antique Mixed-Grade Heart Pine adds a warm and appealing look to the ceilings of the living, dining and kitchen areas of 112 S. Harris Street in Breckenridge.

The custom cabinetry, designed by Kitchenscapes and crafted by Davis Mill and Cabinet from Alder, is finished with an expresso stain with black glaze. The custom island encourages multi-generational cooking on a butcher block topped working space complete with open shelving underneath and a two-tier cutlery drawer. The functional and attractive butler’s pantry has built-in cabinetry that serves as a morning kitchen for the busy hostess. The kitchen’s Wolf Sub-Zero appliance suite includes a Sub-Zero 42” built-in french door refrigerator, Wolf 36” 6 burner dual fuel range and Wolf M Series oven and warming drawer. Completing the custom Island is a Sub-Zero 24” under-counter beverage center. When choosing the tile, we were drawn to selections with natural textures, patterns and a calming look. The neutral tones help to create a contemporary look without compromising the mountain feel. Complimentary to the other finishes selected, the tile also balances the gray and taupe tones throughout the home. The spacious floor plan includes individual guest suites, a large entertainment area, wet bar and wine storage. Coupled with the multiple outdoor
spaces and expansive views, nature itself becomes a captivating feature in this home. Paired with clean lines and neutral tones, the warmth of the natural stone and wood used throughout create stunning interiors with classic elegance and refined beauty.
Turn at the next left onto Rancher’s Road. Continue on Game Trail Road up the hill which will intersect with High Park Court, then turn left again. The home is on the right, second from the top of the hill.

DESCRIPTION Inspired by nature, Thornview Retreat is a sophisticated, perfectly-appointed home that reflects the magical merging of inspiration and architecture. Created by Spirit Builders and architecture firm bhh Partners, the retreat is a stunning testament to mountain contemporary architecture. Spirit Builders envisioned the home to be an expression of the beautiful complexity of the mountain environment which evolved into a modern organic design style throughout the house. Bhh Partners understood this vision and designed Thornview Retreat for visual impact, using floating roof lines complemented by bronze, steel, stone and glass. This elegant home is built to take advantage of the unobstructed views from each room. The soaring ceilings and expansive glass in the great room flood the space with natural light and highlight East Thorn Peak in the Gore range. The sleek modern kitchen was designed by Kitchenscapes of Breckenridge and constructed by Davis Mill & Cabinet. The cabinetry artfully ensconces the Sub-Zero Wolf appliances, dishes and pantries behind lovely smooth doors that create an elegant space for entertaining without losing the functionality of a cook’s kitchen. Kitchenscapes also used the chic cabinetry to create a graceful fresh look in the four bathrooms. The master suite is tucked away down a private hall and is its own soothing sanctuary. The master bath uses white polished tile and rich lighting to create an extravagant space but then grounds it all with flooring that is irregularly delightful, mimicking the
yin and yang of nature. This is the theme of the other bathrooms and rooms as well. The fireplaces are modern, sleek and stunning. They also reflect the two faces of the natural world. One side soft and soothing, the other strong and exciting. Every element of the house has been thoughtfully considered and artfully executed from the three level designer staircase, to the artisan-designed finish behind the wet bar.

DESCRIPTION
HIGHLIGHTS
At Glassman Companies, we believe that purposeful design can encourage inhabitants to achieve a more meaningful and routine connection with the natural environment and with each other for the benefit of mind, body, and soul. Therefore, the goal of this design is to create a backdrop for living that fosters a strong connection with the surrounding natural environment. It accomplishes this through the homes layout, orientation, and architectural detailing. The design is based around a series of rooms that hold the most important functions of a home. These rooms are placed on the site in such a way that each takes full advantage of the views and other site features. A willingness to allow atypical building angles highlights the design’s acute awareness of distant view corridors. The home’s form creates a courtyard space at the entry providing a more immediate view to a picturesque landscape. At its core is a palpable water feature that creates visual and audible interest to pull attention towards the landscape from inside the home. Architectural detailing also plays an important role in accomplishing the homes goal of fostering a connection between indoors and out. This includes the way forms and materials are carried from one condition to the other, the 17-foot folding door in the living room, and the green roof that allows the natural landscape to flow onto and across the home. We have paired up with Raptor Construction to create a truly unique piece of art, molded by the expansive views that grace the site. We hope you will enjoy it as much as we have enjoyed creating it.

BEFORE DESCRIPTION Built in 1981, the townhome complex overlooks Lake Dillon with a spectacular view of Buffalo Mountain and the Ten Mile Range. This 1,429 square-foot townhome has been in the family since 1999 and has seen its share of snow riders and outdoor enthusiasts. Tired and worn from age and use, it was time to update it throughout for the needs of the growing family. After meeting with Harmony Interiors and Aspen Grove Kitchen & Bath, a plan and design concept was developed to give it the face lift it desperately needed. This townhome has been totally transformed, all while utilizing the existing footprint. The kitchen was completely reconfigured from a dark hole to an open and bright kitchen that includes an island with seating for four. The existing powder room, once accessed through the kitchen, is now tucked behind it. Additional pantry storage leads the way to the powder giving the homeowner the additional storage that was lacking in the old kitchen. The fireplace, once bare sheetrock now sports a new stone façade. The 1980’s “Love Boat” railing in the cut out overlooking the living room from the stair landing was replaced with a custom metal railing to bring it to the level of detail given to the rest of the townhome. The lower level bath was comprised of two small rooms, with the shower and toilet separate from the vanity area. The separating wall and doorway were removed, as well as, the small built in shower.
AFTER The shower was enlarged to take up the end of the new bathroom instead of the small corner it once had, resulting in a spacious open plan. The side-by-side washer and dryer were replaced with a stack unit and the open view to the water heater was closed in to create the alcove for the built-in bench and cubbies that were critical to the owner’s needs when coming in from the garage. The former “hot tub room” located adjacent to the lower level bath that the owner used as his ski tune room was converted to a cozy TV-game room for the kids to hang out in. All new trim, doors, cabinetry, countertops and light fixtures along with all new finishes throughout makes this townhome a showplace you will not want to miss; be sure to take a look at the before photos.
HIGHLIGHTS 1,776 square feet 2 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms • New kitchen • Repositioned powder room • Additional storage • New stone fireplace • New railing around the landing between the stairs • Newly remodeled bathrooms – one with a larger shower • New built-ins for storage • New built-in bench with cubbies • All new trim, doors, countertops, plumbing and lighting

DESCRIPTION You will now see the brand-new ski-in/skiout home you have been waiting for at Copper Mountain, one that surpasses all expectations. Floor-to-ceiling great room windows frame the ski runs and the 16th green of the Copper Creek Golf Course. From the moment you step through the 8-foot, custom-walnut front door, the centerpiece of the home is showcased: a hand-crafted, openradius staircase of walnut and hammered steel, displaying the craftsmanship and creativity you will see throughout this home. Walk outside through the mountain-etched glass ski-room doors onto a ski run leading directly to the Super Bee chair lift. Conceived by a national, award-winning developer utilizing a local architect, design team, and trades, this environmentally conscious, innovative (yet functional and fun) residence results in a home rarely seen in Summit County. An emphasis has been placed on quality, sustainability, and craftsmanship throughout. The dramatic, aesthetically pleasing exterior blends natural stone, stucco, hand-distressed beams, recycled Wyoming snow fence, and copper gutters, flashing, and more. As you enter this residence, you will see the style, fine detailing, craftsmanship, and finishes that are present throughout the house. Bleachedwalnut floors lead into the great room, featuring a two-story stone fireplace. Six distinctively unique en-suite bedrooms and gathering areas are accented with a tasteful variety of solid, rustic hardwoods, stone, glass tiles, porcelain, and exotic granites, such as Capavolaro, Coliseum, and leathered Taj-Mahal.
The main floor is perfect for entertaining, featuring an open, expansive great room with hand-distressed beams, creating a warm, cozy, and intimate interior. The custom kitchen is equipped with state-of-the-art appliances, walnut cabinetry, two matching wood-faced dishwashers, matching wood-faced refrigerator, a walk-in pantry, and breakfast nook with buffet. Included on this level are a master suite and office/den, facilitating one-level living. There is direct access to mountainside, outdoor living with a waterfall, fireplace, seating area, built-in buffet with Jenn-Air grill, and a patio pre-wired for a hot tub. There are many additional features and benefits not to be missed while visiting this home today. A wood-paneled elevator with tile floor services all three levels. There is a mother-in-law/caretaker suite with exterior entrance and wet bar. Each level offers a separate laundry area. The three-car garage has an epoxied floor, hot/cold water, floor drains, and storage rooms. The lower level offers a media and gaming area, a fireplace, and an extensive wet bar, featuring an unusually beautiful copper granite. Each suite possesses its own unique, private outdoor-living balcony that allows you to enjoy the mountain lifestyle. We hope you enjoyed today’s tour. 2017 SUMMIT COUNTY PARADE OF HOMES
112 South Harris Street NEW WEST PARTNERS, LLC
Transforming a century-old prospector’s cabin into a modern home was an exciting challenge for the team at New West Partners. New West Partners worked with architect Michael Gallagher to preserve the structure’s exterior character by carefully removing most of the original log siding and windows prior to construction so they could be used in the expanded home. This four bedroom, six bathroom in-town cabin offers expansive views of Breckenridge Ski Resort along with an outdoor living space that includes a salt water hot tub, fire pit, and grill. Just a short walk away is Main Street and all the amenities of downtown Breckenridge. As you enter the great room note the vaulted ceilings made of Revient reclaimed barn wood and beam accents. The skip sawn white oak floors complement a modern Ledgestone gas fireplace contributing to the overall ambiance of the room. As the great room flows into the gourmet kitchen, you’re greeted by a wet bar, a granite island, custom-made buffet cabinetry, and Thermador appliances. Just beyond the kitchen and pantry you’ll find a powder room and a junior suite featuring its own bathroom, walk-in closet, and private sliding glass doors. Beyond the main level’s reclaimed sliding barn door is a mud and laundry room that connects to an oversized two car garage, finished loft, and storage. The lower level features 9 foot ceilings, a flex room, an entertainment zone complete with its’ own wet bar and bathroom, two more bedrooms each with their own bathroom and walk-in closet, and the mechanical room. Upstairs is reserved for the master bedroom with a private deck. Inside, the master includes a Ledgestone gas fireplace, a roomy walk-in closet
with custom built-ins, and hookups for a washer and dryer. The tiled bathroom has a private water closet, steam shower, double vanity and an oversized soaking tub. With its historic character and authentic roots in Breckenridge’s mining era, this modern-day home is perfectly suited for the benefits of contemporary, in-town living.

2017 SUMMIT COUNTY PARADE OF HOMES
584 Peerless Drive PINNACLE MOUNTAIN HOMES
DESCRIPTION As long time Breck skiers, the owners of this generational home chose Shock Hill’s secluded neighborhood for its proximity to skiing and the surrounding Cucumber Gulch preserve, an endangered species habitat. Within walking distance to Main Street, the BreckConnect gondola and the Nordic trails, this ski retreat is perfectly positioned to enjoy sweeping vistas of the Breckenridge Ski Resort, easy access to skiing and nature. The inspiration for the architecture and floor plan came from the family’s love for entertaining and music. The furnishings are timeless, yet light and modern; a perfect balance of mountain transitional style. Working closely with the interior designer on all aspects from space planning to accessorizing, the homeowner’s desire to capture the essence of this home suited to entertaining and family gatherings is evident throughout.
