CNSAS Alto Adige/Südtirol

We are a voluntary subsidiary organization of the National Mountain and Cave Organization CNSAS. As such it is a special branch of the Italian Alpine Club (Club Alpino Italiano CAI), which operates in the entire province of Bolzano. It consists of 700 voluntary mountain rescuers and mountain guides who speak German, Italian and Ladin as their mother tongue. These are split among 21 mountain rescue sections and one cave rescue section.
