Mountain View Senior Center

The Mountain View Senior Center, is beginning a slow phase back to normal programming. The facility is currently open from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. for limited appointment based activities. Starting August 9 we will open from 8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m. with evening hours scheduled to begin on September 13. The Mountain View Senior Center is an all-purpose facility that offers programs and services for adults 55 years of age and over.

Food Programs

Food distribution programs continue to operate at the Senior Center through the Community Services Agency (CSA) - Senior Nutrition Program and Second Harvest Food Bank’s Brown Bag Program. Program information is as follows: • Senior Nutrition Program (SNP) – Grab and Go until August 6. Beginning

August 9 in-person lunches will take place in the Social Hall Monday through Friday beginning at 11:45 a.m. The suggested contribution is $3 for people 60 and over. The meal cost $8 for people under 60 years old. Meals are distributed on a first come, first serve basis. • Brown Bag – Pick-up will take place in the Senior Center Multi-Purpose

A. Brown Bag will operate from 9 – 10:30 a.m., on the first through fourth

Tuesday of each month.

CSA Lunch Menu

The lunch menu is updated weekly and emailed out through the Senior Center’s newsletter distribution list on Fridays for the following week.

Senior Advisory Committee

The Senior Advisory Committee meets the third Wednesday of the month, with the exception of August and December, at 2 p.m.
