Lehmann studied West African drumming and performed with a number of local drum and dance ensembles before forming her own explosive, entertaining troupe. 12:55-1:05 p.m. • Paper Tiger — Simultaneously retro-lounge and ultra-modern, down-tempo trip-hop duo Paper Tiger (Molly Kummerle of Ruby Slippers with DJ MINGLE) crafts soundscapes and moody-elegant lyrics into sonic tapestries. 1:10-1:55 p.m.

• Woody Pines — The Asheville-by-way-of-New-Orleans Pines has been playing music all his life, and his band’s mix of swing, country blues and old-time is sure to be a foot-stomping good time. 3:20-4:20 p.m.
• The Archrivals — This indie-rock band is the alter-ego of stephaniesid, which keyboardist Chuck Lichtenberger as the caped Archrival and vocalist Stephanie Morgan as the blond Dancer Delight. The band not only performs catchy/quirky songs, but takes on other local bands in musical smack-downs. 2:15-3 p.m. • Asheville Hoops Troupe — You may have caught Asheville Hoops at the Tuesday afternoon Hoop Jam at Pritchard Park. That free DJed experience, and other hula-hoop events, are led by movement specialist Melanie “melmacpink” MacNeil. 3:05-3:15 p.m.
• Asheville Dance Revolution — Asheville Dance Revolution is a dance company and studio that aims to inspire dancers to express their passions through movement and music. Performances showcase a variety of styles, from jazz, tap and ballet to African and hip-hop. 11:45 a.m.-12:15 p.m. • Uncle Mountain — Soothing, breezy and bursting with harmony, this Asheville trio fuses elements of folk rock, bluegrass and Americana to form lush but rootsy soundscapes reminiscent of Crosby, Stills and Nash. 12:25-1:05 p.m.

• Bobby Miller & the Virginia Daredevils — Named for the legend of Virginia Dare, the first European born in the Americas, this traditional bluegrass quintet is “rooted in traditional melody and tone, layered with improvisational solos and textured rhythms reminiscent of ‘30s swing bands.” 1:20-2 p.m.
• Asheville Horns w/special guests — Pretty much like the name suggests, Asheville Horns is a collection of local horn players (sax, trombone, trumpet, sousaphone, etc.) who do backup and studio work, as well as putting on their own energetic shows. 7:45-9 p.m.
BoBo Stage • Cod-I — With an influence of music spanning over 60 years, DJ Cod-I spreads the words of life through roots reggae and conscience hip-hop, uplifting the minds of the youth throughout the Asheville area. 11:30-12:30 p.m.
• Ten Cent Poetry (Chelsea Lynn LaBate) — Singersongwriter and finger-style guitarist Chelsea Lynn LaBate has a sultry, soaring voice that haunts and lingers long after the final chords have faded. She performs dynamic ballads rich with poetry-laden lyrics. 6-6:35 p.m.

• The Feral Chihuahuas Sketch Comedy — The Feral Chihuahuas are “committed to the funny.” The sketch-comedy collective has expanded far beyond their modest debut in a two-car garage, and now perform at sold-out shows and comedy festivals across the country. 8-8:35 p.m.
• If You Wannas — Citing a diverse array of influences such as The Velvet Underground and Hank Williams, this quartet describes their catchy and quirky sound as “minimalist pop mayhem.” Together since 2007, they’ve built a reputation for experimental and raw live performances that make the most of their street-inspired musicianship. 3:25-4:05 p.m. • Death of Analog — The brainchild of songwriter/composer Draven Arcane, this industrial-rock group sculpts dark sonic landscapes that are inspired by visions of a dystopian future. 4:20-4:55 p.m. • Underhill Rose — This “country soul” duo met at Warren Wilson College and went on to form one half of the all-female Americana quartet The Barrel House Mamas. • Moving Temple — This trance-inducing Asheville outfit, led by Skew Records founder Andy Askew, consists of a rotating cast of contributors that includes B. Suttle, Michael Lott, Crick Nice, Peripheral and DM Stair, and specializes in subdued electronic tones straight from outer space. 7:45-8:15 p.m.
• Nataraj — The stripped-down spin-off of spiritual/trance band Arundas, Nataraj combines the drumming of multiple percussionist with exotic melodies. 6-8 p.m.
• Alisa Kuumba & Friends — Alisa Kuumba is a diverse artist, a singer and poet who integrates Afrobeat, reggae and Yoruba chants into unique and soulful performances. Much of her work is rooted in traditional West-African rhythms. 11-11:40 a.m.
• Live Local Bluegrass hosted by Deb Ryder — The music of the Appalachian Mountains comes to life at the live local bluegrass jam hosted by Deb Ryder. Gather round and let the banjo, fiddle, mandolin and high lonesome sound lead the way to the dance floor. 4-7 p.m.
• Belle Afrique African Drum and Dance Collective — This ensemble honors the beauty, grace and power of West African culture through its traditional music and dance. The group seeks to inspire an interest in multiculturalism through energetic and empowering performances, classes and residencies. 6:55-7:35 p.m.
• Sky Lake — formed out of the demise of Asheville band Ventricles, Sky Lake (Andy Williams, Benjamin Pates, Christopher Ballard and Ross Gentry) are already attracting attention, inspiring an Xpress reviewer to describe them as “if Devendra Banhart and Thom Yorke had a baby.” 4:30-6 p.m.

• The Pond Brothers — George and Andy Pond create a hybrid musical sound that they call “bluegrasstafari.” Fusing traditional Americana tunes with bluegrass, reggae and psychedelic rock, the band’s sound is wildly dynamic, adventurous and absolutely danceable. 2-2:35 p.m.
• Matt Williams — Playing the guitar, mandolin, violin, bass and drums, singer-songwriter Matt Williams is a true multi-instrumentalist. With a soft yet commanding voice that floats over a tapestry of sound, Williams’ folk-rock/j-pop fusion and improvisational riffs are sure to spark attention. 7-7:35 p.m.
• Ol’ Hoopty — This blues-y five piece was born when keyboardist George Scott and guitarist Bill Norlin met at their children’s music recital, and began jamming over their shared love of old soul, blues and R&B, eventually filling out the lineup with drummer Mike Berlin, bassist Steve Cohen and vocalist Crystal Bray. 2:30-3:10 p.m.

• Jar-E — Jar-E is a funny guy (and amateur standup comedian), which makes the levity of his deeply soulful, R&B-meets-world beatmeets-funk-meets-poetry songs all the more surprising. • Bliss Dub — Formed a year ago, this group (guitarist/vocalist Luke Trotman, drummer Laith Inkidar, bassist Ryan Finder and keyboardist Julien Melissas) is all about “playing music and the promotion of positive livity.” 1-2 p.m.
• Kovacs and the Polar Bear — Nick Kovacs, Andrew Woodward, Chris Lee and Joe Chang make up this raw/sweet indie-rock group. The musicians change instruments throughout the show (sometimes mid-song) but no matter their configuration, it’s an energetic and engaging performance based around Kovacs’ thoughtful lyrics. 12:05-12:50 p.m.
