Dear Families, This is for the school year 2010-2011 SCHOLASTIC BOOK ORDER INSTRUCTIONS: • Website Address: o http://www.scholastic.com/bookclubs 1. On the first page you have 3 choices, click in the circle next to PARENT 2. On this page, click on REGISTER (even if you have done this before, please do a new registration. 3. This page asks you for name, user name and password. Be sure to record all this in the place where you keep all your computer online accounts. 4. This last page asks you for the name of the child in our class, PLUS the code for our school • Our school code is: GYBPK When you order online, you pay by using your credit card. All of the books that you order are mailed to us and we will put them in your child’s cubby. If you are buying the books as a present or surprise for your child, be sure to tell us (and write it down too and put it into the basket). Our school gets credit for each order made and then we use that to purchase books for the classroom. The Click catalog has some educational games for the computer, but most of them seemed to be for older children. If you ever find something that is appropriate for our age group, please let us know so we can pass on the information.
