For many women, fall symbolizes beginnings. After a summer filled with busy activities and haphazard schedules, fall is often the time where we return to the regular rhythm of life. This is a great time for a fresh start. Take the opportunity to come away for a weekend to meet with God within a community of women; be inspired to nurture your whole person in this new season! Join us for fresh perspectives on living with power, purpose and joy. Housing at Ponderosa Lodge is in cabins, which sleep eight in bunk beds. There are two complete bathrooms in each cabin. Ponderosa Lodge offers two heated pools, sand volleyball, tennis, mountain biking, guided hikes and our challenge course and climbing tower. We also offer ocean kayaking. Crafts and massage are available at additional cost.

An inter-denominational group, WaterGirl leads worship with a goal to experience the fullness of God’s presence and encourage others to do the same.
Fall is a time of change, with fall colors signalling the coming of winter. Many of us yearn for change that can remove the “clutter” and give us a clearer view of our life. When you come away to the beauty of nature in Mount Hermon for one of our pre-holiday spiritual retreats for women, be confident the Lord will meet you here. Once again we will be offering two identical weekends to choose from, with an optional added day prior to the retreat to extend your experience. This extra day is programmed separately from the regular three-day retreat. These weekends are not designed as a women’s conference or seminar; they are specifically designed to give time alone with the Lord. There will be short sessions of input throughout the weekend around a scriptural theme. Following these you will be released to spend time alone with the Lord with materials prepared to facilitate this listening time for you. You’ll have time to be quiet, to rest, to listen...time to be both indoors and out in the natural beauty of Mount Hermon...time to let some of the “leaves of life” fall away and create new vistas into our lives with Jesus. There will also be time to fellowship with other women around the meals and free-time activities. Jayne Price, who began Mount Hermon’s Spiritual Retreat ministry in 1995, leads each weekend. Robin Spurlock from Twin Lakes Church in Aptos guides our worship.
