OUR COMMUNITY GIFT GIVING TREE They say it’s better to give than receive, and that is certainly the case with our Gift Giving Tree. All the gifts generously and lovingly donated go directly to the children at Bear Cottage and Stewart House to make their Christmas all that more special. If you would like to be part of this years Gift Giving appeal, simply visit the Club and select a gift card from the tree. Then buy a gift to suit the boy or girls age and place it under the gift giving tree in the Club.

DEVELOPMENT UPDATE ON THE WAY UP! We were delighted to mark an important milestone in our redevelopment with excavators reaching the lowest development point in October. After reaching the lowest level of our new site which is the new basement carpark, the only way to go from there was up; and so we have! With demolition works complete and major excavation well progressed, the building team have commenced stage one of building works. The foundation concrete slabs for three of the Watermark Freshwater buildings were created in October, followed by the two levels of parking in November and now the clubs ground level is currently in progress. Locals and members have been enjoying seeing the real transformation take place on the site as the future Harbord Diggers precinct comes to life. The site has already undergone a huge conversion since we commenced works in April but despite appearances, we want to remind our members and guests that we are still open for business as usual. With four major offerings including our rooftop bar and restaurant overlooking Freshwater Beach, members and guests will be amazed at what’s on offer at the current Harbord Diggers. Come and check it out today!
SUPPORTING LOCALS IN DEVELOPMENT Did you know that we are going that one step further to enhance our community as we build the new Diggers? We are passionate about the local community and have made sure we can make a difference to locals on the Northern Beaches wherever possible. Here are some quick facts about the Harbord Diggers development: • All our concrete being used on site is being purchased from a local plant right here on the Northern Beaches at Harbord Road
• Our sandstone that is removed from our site is being used in Warriewood to build new roads

Gfitness has launched the most exciting fitness program on the Northern Beaches. Beach HIIT, our hugely successful High Intensity Interval Training program, is heading to Freshwater Beach every Wednesday at 6am and Saturday at 8am. New Course starts in January. Mounties @ Sussex Resort is a member’s resort that provides facilities such an undercover bbq area, renovated playground, tennis courts, indoor heated swimming pool and sauna, mountain bikes, kids bikes, canoes, stand up paddle boards and pedal boat. The resort is surrounded by the inlet with two private jetties that you can fish from or moor your boat.
