A PA R T N E R S H I P T H AT S A V E S L I V E S , SPEEDS RECOVERY AND SERVES THE COMMUNITY Mounties Group continues its strong relationship with leading aeromedical provider CareFlight as part of our 5-year commitment as major sponsor, considered to be one of the biggest support packages known in Club history. Thanks to the Mounties Care sponsorship, 6

CareFlight was able to launch its brand-new Airbus H145, part of the next generation of NSW’s Aeromedical Helicopters in 2021. The Mounties Care CareFlight Helicopter rapid response service is based on the grounds of Westmead Hospital. Utilising the H145, one of the world’s most
advanced aeromedical helicopters, the service can be airborne and on its way to trauma incidents within three minutes of being called. This means that severely ill or injured patients receive hospital level care as quickly as possible. The Mounties Care CareFlight Helicopter has undertaken 355 critical care patient rescue missions since its launch in July 2021. CareFlight is an Australian institution that saves people’s lives. The results from the partnership have meant that services from the CareFlight helicopter are available to provide emergency healthcare to community members in need quickly and efficiently. This partnership strengthens Mounties Group’s ethos of ‘improving the lives of our members and our community’ and that is something our members and guests should be proud to contribute to through this partnership. Of course, we have enjoyed a rich eleven-year history with the CareFlight team, previously supporting them through community donations and ClubGRANTs. However, just a year into our new partnership, we are excited at the opportunities that lie ahead and to hear more stories from the CareFlight team about lives saved thanks to this service. To celebrate the first year of this partnership, Mounties Group is launching August as CareFlight month. Together with the CareFlight team, we are honouring our partnership through a month of wonderful activations across Mounties Group. Experience the world-class technology of the Mounties Care CareFlight Helicopter when it lands at Mounties for a special day of celebrations in August. Together with the Mounties Care team, locals and families will be able to see this state-of-the-art helicopter and meet the heroes behind the controls, working tirelessly to keep our community safe and connected to lifesaving medical treatment when it is needed most. Our CareFlight encounter will be held on Sunday 14 August at Mounties. At 10.45am the Mounties Care CareFlight Helicopter will
land on the grounds of our venue for the local community to experience and see up close the H145 in action. The helicopter will be onsite for at least 1 hour but will be responsive to missions thereafter. In support of the Mounties Care CareFlight Helicopter landing and photo opportunities, you will also be able to get up close to the Patient Transport Vehicle, the HeliSim and learn more with the Community Engagement Team The wonderful CareFlight Encounter will also include face painting and free family activities, plus the opportunity to speak with members of the CareFlight team to learn more about their role in saving lives every day.

WHY OUR CLUBGRANTS PROGRAM IS A N I M P O R TA N T PA R T O F MOUNTIES GROUP We’ve had another successful year with our ClubGRANTS scheme, with Mounties, Mekong and Triglav pledging a massive $1,042,917 to deserving community groups around the Western Sydney area.
2022 ClubGRANTS to support four of its initiatives including the provision of support groups to build social skills for people with autism and facilitating carers support groups to help families with their journey.
The 2022 grants are being provided to 62 organisations who support youth, seniors, children, families and other vulnerable members of our community.
In addition, ASPECT will deliver a specialised Autism Advisory and Support Service (AASS) program thanks to the Triglav grant. This program will see ASPECT work one on one with a small business owner who is Autistic. Through providing expertise, mentoring and training to allow the business to flourish in person and online and the program will build the capacity of the business owner to grow their business and in turn employ other people in their business. This will be a pilot program for future similar programs for entrepreneurs with Autism and we are
Notable organisations receiving grants this year include The Humour Foundation, Liverpool Women’s Health Centre, CareFlight, Autism Spectrum Australia, Starlight Children’s Foundation, Fairfield City Council, Community Action Services Australia and Cancer Patients Foundation. Autism Advisory and Support Service (ASPECT) is receiving $155,097 via the 10

It is important to acknowledge that without our 200,000+ members these ClubGRANTS would not be possible. - Dale
delighted we can provide this program with a start, thanks to ClubGRANTS. Another program being funded under the 2022 ClubGRANTS from Western clubs is Life Education who is focusing on a mental health initiative for local schools with its $18,000 grant from Mounties. In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, Healthy Harold will deliver 50 free Life Ed preventative health and mental wellbeing sessions to targeted vulnerable and disadvantaged primary schools in the Liverpool LGA. Mental wellbeing education is more essential than ever as young people adapt to a new way of life and recover after the pandemic. Life Ed already visits 22 schools and 9,900 children annually in the Liverpool LGA and this project targets those disadvantaged children who are missing out.
Mounties Group CEO, Dale Hunt explains why our ClubGRANTS program is such an important part of Mounties Group. “For clubs like ours, supporting the community is part of our purpose, so we continue to give back and support those who help our locals. As an organisation, we are so privileged to be able to donate to such important causes through our ClubGRANTS scheme,” explained Dale. “It is important to acknowledge that without our 200,000+ members these ClubGRANTS would not be possible. Every dollar spent with us means we can give more and more each year to our local communities,” added Dale.
